After a lot of commotion throughout all the a-kills happening lately, war was expected to happen rather soon. As tradition holds by now, the first war is usually held before anyone reaches the rank of Bruglione in the hopes of gaining an advantage before any family becomes too powerful. Tonight that seems to be the case.
Garduna, Samyo, Oblivions <-> Vedici, COlossal
Destination, Abattoir, Pentagram+, Narcos <-> Siberia, Ponies, Hoogvilet, Sevenhills
Out of nowhere Imperium opened fire on Monarch, Monarch shoots back right away.
Akronia opens fire on Monarch as well.
At the start of the night, the defending families start to retaliate back at Pentagram, Destination and Abattoir.
Shield joins the defending families.
Guardians aids the defenders by shooting several of the attacking families's top rankers
Blacksea and Lionsgate now also join the shooting vs Destination.

Suprisingly, Abattoir's fampage has the following quote:
"TONY-E MADE ME DO THIS"
Which occurred after it's Sottocapo put the leavemoney on $1 and kicked everybody out, leaving no successors for any regimes.
At the start of the evening, Oblivions attempts to launch a wave on Siberia but suffers many backfire kills in the proces. The defenders put their focus on Oblivions as a response.

After the plain dumb move of shooting Sevenhills with former Merciless shooters we decided to give Tony a call. Abattoir imploded and after we, Siberia+ and Colossal, resisted all the attackers without any help until late in the night we decided to turn the tables after causing some chaos to happen in numerous attacking families by planting spies and hijackers inside them. Well, you can all see the result.
Special shoutout for Tony-e, even though we were obviously going to be shooting each other this version, we're on same terms regarding principles. The worst thing that can happen as shotcaller is seeing someone use your own people against yourself.

Well I'd start off saying this wasn't a very neatly planned war, which isn't strange considering the other side took at hit with the downing of Merciless. Yet they took the best chance they were going to get by shooting last night, before Siberia had their brug advantage.
All the families mentioned above were going to be in the war regardless, they were just waiting for the right time to strike. Granted, they may have not joined if Siberia took a bigger hit but that's not their fault is it? If the other side didn't have as much leaks as an old trawler, this war could have gone either way.
And despite my family having to sit offline all night taking hits from Garduna and Oblivions, I'd say this was a fair war and eventhough this is probably going to be a one-sided version from now on, it's been more fun than the previous rounds where the game was already decided before the first war kicked off.

On topic: been a fun and balanced war! It has taken some versions to finally see a war like this again.

I don't think this war had to be leaked. Everyone knew a war before first brugs was happening from one side or the other. It was quite obvious this version had two main sides. Now one of them is out and done. Hopefully the remaining smaller fams will have some balls to do something against them, but the sad truth is that this version is pretty much decided after the first war of the version.

You are right about that. I guess the war was unavoidable. Still sure there were leaks about the plans.
Members from Siberia and Vedici knew they were targeted before members from Abattoir, Pentagram and the rest knew they were going to shoot. They, Siberia+, were offline already when the war channels were made, they came in the fam channels and wrote how you gonna fail and stuff like that. Even a few families who were not involved told their members to stay off cuz shits going down. Maybe they could have seen it from dets agencies but at least Detroit dets were down so nothing from there, dunno about the other cities. And then there were the hj attempt on Abattoir.
I am afraid you are right, the version has been decided already. But who knows, perhaps we might yet get surprised.
