I've seen some a-killing going on on multiple versions concerning money trading over different versions.
More and more people start an account on a seperate version to save up cash, to trade that cash over to their main version account to make it stronger. Admins call this duping.
I would like to see a discussion going on how the player base feels about this, as some would say there's technically nothing wrong with it. Some have standard trading partners in which you can help them get stronger, it's a different person, ranking by themselves, on a seperate version.
Discuss along please!

I think its a good thing,
trading cross versions does off balance the game hugely
it makes what some accounts have 3x the avarage bullets / money others have.
money trading over versions should be punished harder if you ask me =p

Long overdue.
The only thing to criticize here, is that their timing again.
That money trading was going on for a long time and the crew did not bother to stop it.
Now they start akilling it, and again they do it when the version is over.

Well nothing strage in that, each player choise what he like moust i mean on serves so he use others servers to become stronger on server where he like to play...main problem here is that omerta dont have good numbers of players and crew need to work something abouth that ,com is main server but there is alot of players who play pt/nl and dont play com ,same goes for dm ,personaly i think that crew need to shut down for some period other servers and that way bring up alot ppl at com , in the time ppl will create marketing and bring up more players at com first , later on other servers will be On and everyone will be able again to play what they want , just this time number of players will grow up primary at com , then at rest of servers.

The difference between a trade account and a actual dupe, is that the dupe is run and controlled by you, whereas the trade account is not. Why don't they need money you say? Gee...could it be because they are generating money on the given server, to trade it to their account on the other server to try to get an advantage?
Closing down the mickey-mouse versions wont really make that big a difference, as its the same faggots who to play here allready. You wont go back to the golden days with 5-10k players, no matter what you do...What people like you, and several others, seems to fail to realize, is that this is a 10+ year old game, based on a 10+ year old idea. The era of browserbased RPG's are long gone, tbh its pure sorcery that this game is still up 'n kicking.

Yess there you have a point, the glory days are gone and will not come back, that i do realize myself.
But why would people rank on another version to "trade? there money with another person? that sounds weird in my ears. because i know how hard you need all ya money. even if you have a major bank account with 50-70 mil. That i would spend in like a week or so on just 1 account.
I think if trading would be allowed it wouldt be fair for others that dont have other people working for them on other versions. Thats a kinda like cheating advantage u gain then.
so the best would be to make version-moeny-trading impossible or else also accept a second account!

guess that is duping haha, u have accounts that wanna trade money from one to another version. But who in any version dont needs money??
Even if you have like 50 mil, thats gone in days if you buy lots of bullets and go shooting/retraining Bg's
I think that if you dont call that duping, than having a second account in the same version that ranks slower but is part of a fam and have bullets also cant be called a dupe to.
Get my point..
So the best option for good gameplay is close all other versions (except .DM) so there is 1 big active Omerta.com, and maybe make ranking go slower so versions take longer.
Or let people have 2 accounts if they are bored with one, but only if they play as 2 seperate people being controlled by one person and make sure it are real accounts. So that would mean buy bullets on 2 accounts and have acceptable ontime on both accounts.
But i realize that will be almost impossible to control for our poor poor admins.
So close all versions to stop different version cheaters and lets make omerta happy fair and square again

There's nothing wrong with the amounts of money being made. It's just that if one person trades, you kinda have to trade to keep up with that person. Didn't know it was forbidden btw. Funny thing is that about half of the versions consists of traders but they pick out lusa's accounts yet again.

I was suprised seeing some a-kills on .com this version concerning this matter as well, but as I just saw an entire family on .nl getting a-killed over moneytrading, I decided to get it to the people's attention here. Coz there's a lot of people that didn't know it was actually forbidden.

so simple!!!
Close all versions and keep .com open ( as it was in the past).
Is better for the game, this shit is almost dead.
I miss 2.0 and 2.1 around 100 families with 200/300 members, one single version around 7/8 months or more.
ppl died and rank again.
Now after 1/2 wars it going to Reset..... the Same shit... same families... same wars.... ( boring game). is better play Sims or Clash Of clans
And should change some admis, incompetents with some influence in the game. I´m not Lusa player or Fan but these akills are pactetic.
If this continues like this more 1/2 years and the game will died or only will have 30/40 actives players.

Myeah...nope. Even if you close .nl, .tr and .pt (.dm is dead) the amount of players won't really grow that much, due to the fact that they allready got .com accs. What you will get tho, is a bunch of people stopping to play as their favourite server went down. Something that will make the death process of this aids game even faster.

I assume it's not that hard to filter out the accounts with less than 5% ontime and check out their bg's etc. And after that their banktransfers. Doubt that's more work.

I would be a fool to believe that this hasn't been happening ever since we had both a .com and .nl version of Omerta. And of course soon after, a multitude of other versions followed. Now all of a sudden it is regarded as cheating and people are getting a-killed. In my opinion, it's not fair to change the rules of the game while we are playing. We all agreed to the disclaimer when we signed up for Omerta and based on that, there is absolutely nothing wrong with creating an account on all versions with the sole purpose to benefit your account on any one version. Perhaps you should make a new disclaimer and make us agree to that one, BEFORE the version actually starts.
Instead of blaming us and killing active players, maybe it's better they think about how their stupidity can affect the game experience of every player, only for it to be called a bug or exploit. Maybe the disclaimer should be updated to include the retarded things which have been done by admins and which the users absolutely cannot use, so the game is fair and can be reset every 1.5 month so people can keep investing in DCs. At least you did one thing right: you waited for the version to be over before correcting your mistakes this time, instead of doing it during a version and most likely changing the outcome.
