The Lusa family just got taken down after it's Don (and sotto who tried an escape to Tijana) got a-killed.
Many people are questioning the motives behind this a-kill, one of the admins had the following to say:
Ascii is not killed due to personal account abused, he found a bug in the system so his capos benefitted of it
that's why he got an akill, we will not revive the accounts he killed but we will discuss a compensation otherwise
Also some CD's (maybe all of them) from Lusa got demoted to Local Chief, so these accounts took advantage of the bug as well. The bug supposedly is used by more than just Lusa, it's just the fact that the CD's haven't demoted to Bruglione when having an empty regime, since they didn't do any manual action. Thus giving them the account strenght nessecary to survive.
The official revive rule states that people will only get revived if they have been killed within 3 days before the a-kill of their shooter, which for many of the gangsters comes too late.
How do you feel about this? Should the revive policy need a review? Should the person that fired over 2,5 million bullets and devestated so many accounts get a different punishment?

If so, it had to of been longer ago than this year, because since I came back in January, I know it has not happened for this long. I would call anyone out if I knew they were guilty of it. Kurosawa had enough regime strength remaining to keep a few people promoted, but not all of their capos and don. Prophecy is more similar to Lusa, in that they did not have enough strength to keep anyone promoted, so they should have lost their GF and all CD capos - This ultimately would have led to their don's death and the demotion of Sotto and Consig, eventually.
They should all be admin killed, but Lusa was a huge slap in the face to this game's coding. The admins had to do something..

No, it's because Lusa had 10 CD's and a don, none with enough regime strength to remain promoted, that the admins had to do something. Kurosawa had enough regime strength remaining to keep a few people promoted, but not all of their capos and don. Prophecy is more similar to Lusa, in that they did not have enough strength to keep anyone promoted, so they should have lost their GF and all CD capos - This ultimately would have led to their don's death and the demotion of Sotto and Consig, eventually.

We did kill Lusa.. They had plenty regime strength before we started killing their dupes.
Also, if you're half as good as we are, then re-rank like we did and shoot whoever you damn well please. The fact is that Lusa had many brug accounts more than 20 days promoted, but they were easy to kill because they never had any bullets. We did the only thing a restart family could do and killed the lowest ranks in hope of demoting the higher ranks. You guys hid offline for days, so why so bold now? I will never understand how anyone who exploits money exchanges and gf promotions can continue to talk shit after they've been bested.

Imo, they shouldnt have had akills for using this trick, people have been doing this (on smaller scale) since the regimestrenght has been around. Myself i was even surprised this wasnt considered legit, because we should have seen alot of akills in the past (mostly because its so easy to discover).

While I agree that others should have been admin killed and more should still be admin killed, it isn't unreasonable to suspect the admins gave the cheaters 4 days to correct the problem in order to remove all doubt about the intention to exploit. I think the bottom line is that no matter how you looked at it, the intention to exploit was obvious. I don think people should be admin killed for accidentally stumbling upon a glitch.
The only thing to do now is to maintain the precedent set here and continue to enforce it until the bug can be fixed.
I wouldn't mind seeing a few revives.. but that's not exactly eating me up, despite the fact that I died during this scandal and probably could be revived.
