A number of families are attacking Lucchese.
So far we know that Purgatory, Venture, Vertigo, Vaevictis, Destination and Anonymous are attacking Lucchese.
Catania, Trafficante & Cristeria seem to be helping Lucchese.
Folante, Don of Lucchese, set Alonsof as Successor, a trusted local chief. After the death of his don Alonsof proceeded to kick out the remaining members in the family. Most likely to save as many as possible. With this act Lucchese has surrendered to what seemed to be the inevitable and it is only a matter of time before the family gets brought down.
Meanwhile Regedit opened fire on Catania.

Has there yet been a version where the Turks ended the version with about 10 families standing? Last couple of times when there were Turks winning I saw all spots filled with families..

I hate all form of hugging and pacting with people, some bloodlines sure.. but even imo bloods should only shoot for eachother when it's in the own favor also (for example getting an object or something).
I personaly believe Lucchese had a bit too many bloods for my book but on the other hand some of those bloods were rather low ranked on the fam stats (Catania etc. hardly count 10 brugs).
On the other hand, I always respected Lucchese for their shooting. I won't back out for some nice shooting and they don't always go for some pussy game-play.
I think if it was up to them they'd war every weekend just like the 2.1 style they played.

2.1 style every weekend war :s was only in the end but definitly not all time through the version you did not have lackey's back then and the fastest rankers among us took it at least 5-6 weeks to get to brug and thos ware very rare :p
