A number of families are attacking Lucchese.
So far we know that Purgatory, Venture, Vertigo, Vaevictis, Destination and Anonymous are attacking Lucchese.
Catania, Trafficante & Cristeria seem to be helping Lucchese.
Folante, Don of Lucchese, set Alonsof as Successor, a trusted local chief. After the death of his don Alonsof proceeded to kick out the remaining members in the family. Most likely to save as many as possible. With this act Lucchese has surrendered to what seemed to be the inevitable and it is only a matter of time before the family gets brought down.

7 fams, well when they got attacked it was already 5, and how you get 5 high ranked, maybe righ, crist and bruin where top20, rest was outside it i believe.
And btw like someone posted it was even 8 attacking but among 4 atleast top 10

lol if you know Lucchese's history, you know that they are not anyone's puppets. Lucchese is and always has been one of the biggest Omerta family since the days of old. Some retired, some kept playing, but when Lucchese finally managed to get their tops back on, you saw how huge they were. Personally I never liked Lucchese due to their arrogance, and always been on opposing sides. But at least I'm not lying to myself and saying that Lucchese are puppets, because that's simply not true. Lucchese has always played it's own game, not caring how it could affect it's bloods or anyone. They decide to do something, and they just go for it without hesitating. Probably their overconfidence is being portrayed as arrogance? I don't know. But at least it's one of the very few families that I still respect. Maybe not in the way they play, because I've seen them fuck over bloods in the past and leaking war plans and giving out to the "enemy" the list of shooters and all for a couple of objects (anyone remember Smokey` a few versions ago? With Gambino, he sold out the people that has been shooting with him all version long, and gave Schopenhauer a list of the attackers, in return for a few objects). And in the past they've done similar things. In the end, I'm not a fan of how they get things done, but they're a massive family, and never have been nor will they ever be "puppets".

The problems between Liberta and Vincitori, with the former leaving the fam and stealing all the family bank are well documented and discussed. And a lot of Gravano people aren't playing this version, same goes for Vincitori.

actually you are missing one point my friend , lucchese shot first , coz they were goin to be shot at friday night, so they tried it , but in any case they died.
in the other hand , with their early attack on thursday , they also caused righelli's dead.
coz Turks were going to shoot lucchese and some of their bloods , righelli was not in the list.

In my humble opinion,
Lucchese has always been an agressor. More often on winning side than other. I respect them, but I will never join them. The game would be less interesting if they were not here.
