Within a few minutes, this afternoon some members from Vaffanculo received an akill for poker abuse and the poker page got closed. Now seems to be a golden age for object owners, but even they must wonder: what was this bug abuse all about?
Apparently, it works as followed: you and your dupe/partner in crime play a hell lot of poker games, so long until you both have exactly the same five cards. When you both have that, you both raise as much money as possible. The game ends, and you both have won because you have the same cards: a split pot. Apparently this is were the bug was; instead of normally refunding the money to both accounts, the money actually got doubled. For instance, if you both went all in with 100mil, you both received 50mil extra (+100mil, but splitted).
The chance of this happening, though, is very small. We have been told that the abusers played over 900 games before this happened.

and what about the people who transfer money through poker using dupes? That is also poker abuse and was a lot more commonly used.
Omerta Judging by the report we saw of how the poker bug worked, it looks easy enough to fix. We hope we can confirm this soon...

Flushes incl. straight flushes: 5148/C(52,5) x 3/C(47,5) = 5148x3 / [C(52,5)C(47,5)].
Straights: one can have a straight that has every suit represented, three suits or just two suits ( but not one, for then it is a straight flush); we want to know this since it's easier to count all possible tying straights, including straight flushes and subtract the straight flushes. Out of each 1020 combinations of specific straights, there are 4x5x3+4x10x3 = 180 with two suits, 4x10x3x2+6x10x3x2 = 600 with three suits and 4x10x3x2 = 240 with all four suits: since there are ten different straights, and since there are 35=243 combinations of straights incl. straight flushes with the same ranks, the probability of tying straights is 10x(240x243+600x242+180x241) / [C(52,5)C(47,5)].
Two pairs: 123552x3 / [C(52,5)C(47,5)].
One pair: 13x84480x(3x3x3) / [C(52,5)C(47,5)].
Nothing: using the same idea for straights above, for each of the C(13,5)-10 = 1277 combinations of ranks, the probability in this case is 1277x(240x243+600x242+180x241) / [C(52,5)C(47,5)]. It's admins mistake, and admins mistake only. They were aware of this problem, since I pointed it out a little less than a year ago. So if they decide not to fix it, then it must mean it's part of the game.

Nah, they have done the same shit before. Me and Serpentons used the "RP BUG" at .NL last vers, one was offline in his Panicroom, and the other shot 10k bullets at him and gained rp etc. Wich they were aware of also, since its a flaw in the game system. You gained RP for shooting, as you should then, but didnt loose bullets, and we got tossed around for that.
A severe punish should have been better imo, since admins were more or less aware of what was going on way before these accounts were old enough to poker. That doesn't mean the bug should be used though. But if Vaffanculo members (who are not the brightest people you'll ever meet) know about it, do they really think it's only them?
And instead of taking the money and purchased goods away from them, plus a nice punish to slap them on the wrists for being naughty, they throw them down the well and let someone else have their millions. This is just as odd as that time they decided to reward people for clicking kredu's link. Cause everyone that clicks a link spread by him must have just been really curious and had no idea what was going on.
