Sorry, my wording was unclear. What I meant was that in a war with counters, not all families are always getting shot by the counering fam. So while the overall ratio might be (like in this case) negative for the attackers after a counter, individual families might still be shooting with worse odds (e.g. no one is countering on Gambino in this case). The fact that not all shooters are online is a non-issue as it applies to both sides, so a 5:1 gangbang is still different from a 2:1 war in relative terms.

We've experimented with various things in the past, including ratios and various visualizations to display them (based on, for example, fam strength). It's just a matter of not having the time or motivation to do it for every war. As an example, all war reports last version were created by one reporter, would you have rather had none at all?

I would also argue that the Tattaglia war was not directly comparable as it was a fight over starting in a city without permission (or so they thought trolol), and at the same time a 1v1 war. You can't blame Anarchy for having the size they had, and you can't expect them not to shoot someone over something like that just because it would be a gangbang. It's all about the small details here. Various families who claim to not be related attacking one family 6 vs 1 is a different thing entirely.

Sadly it is probably too late to start any meaningful moderation on this forum. It has always been toxic, as is this community in general, as we all know. I don't really care about the tone here as long as it doesn't go too far into personal business, and I expect everyone else to do the same.

Actually you might not have seen it but it happens, the missing comes from shooting no more then 15k at the target, in rapid succession as not hitting doesnt activate the 10 min timer, as you can clearly see by there only being 2-3 minutes between each hit. and as said before why suicide 4 accounts if you can actually just drain someone of bullets and then later go in for the kill.

KA in this version, At this point doesnt automaticly mean 60k shots are deaths, in the "perfect oppurtinity part II" war this could be seen very well where people where being hit with 60k by people in much higher overal positions and only losing 2 bgs their suits and around 50% health.
maybe this chances as we come closer to CDC and GF ranks who knows.

True that if you stack the numbers up like that it is a massive amount of over kill and alot of overkill or so it may seem. As i stated before not every brug chief and lc in the attacking fams shot as that would simple not be able and not just amount of possible shooters, but also actually amount of people able of being online and actually shooting. I do agree with you that it is for the reader to think about this for him or herself.

The reason however i started all these talks is that this is actually what you say to one of the posters on this site. and then in a next say "its quite an outliner cause of the high numbers" apperently forgetting what you said before that, Which was "but in most wars, not everyone is shooting everyone" and ill add not everyone is shooting. Again ill state its for the reader to ponder of this aswell.

The biased comes from the initial reports of the vinci war where the attacking side pretty much got dragged thru the mud, over these numbers, which where introduced only in that war, and where not seen in previous versions, where odds where just as staggering. as i said in my previous post and you compleetly ignore anarchy(60+lc+) VS Tattaglia(whitewalkers) which was a staggering overpowerment aswell did not show these numbers. ill admit they might not have been as high but cant be far off since whitewalkers right now have 19 lc+. This atleast creates a sense of some biasedness in reporting.

I can actually very well discern between what is relevant and what is not, and how to see things in perspective if i might say so myself, what i find to be lacking is you grasping the point, of my point being made.

This site adds a lot to the game and I think the people running it should be given a bit more recognition and a lot less flak for it.

Do I find that there's sometimes a bit of a pro-whatever-family slant in some of the articles? Sure. But would I actually want to do the reporter's job myself? Ugh, rather not; running around interviewing tops just to be a constant target for moaners.

Well, I have most certainly never seen anyone preshoot someone (even while online, for the last two!) with top accounts (Don, Top 3, 2 capos) without doing any damage. I don't think anyone else has either. It's quite cute.

I updated this article to include the correct ratio hours ago. It is NEGATIVE for the attacking side. I'm on the defending side. How can you possibly use that as an argument for this site being biased?

If I wanted to shut anything down, I would have deleted all comments regarding this matter. I did not. I have no interest in this discussions and the reporters on this site don't have to accept every shit claim and be called names for everything they do here. We do this for free, for the community and there are reporters from all sides, all of which could add or edit anything that is biased or inaccurate. We do not decline any applications from new reporters based on the family they're in.

If you cannot understand that things can be both irrelevant when looked at in isolation and still worth including for the general picture, then I can't help you and suggest you go back to primary school.
