Could have killed us, yeah you could. But you didn't. Instead you guys decided to wait untill a big war occured in which you could be a decoy/pre-shoot for one of the big families. The fun part of the game is shooting, not saving your account just to play "diplomatically". We definitely had our fun yesterday and the amount of comments in this thread proves we made a good decision.
By the way, could you explain how exactly you wanted to make adifference in a war against the blood pact? That would be impossible and you would be mentioned as "one of the small families shooting with the big ones".

That's why I prefer to play old skool games, they were never meant to appeal to the general public. It's when major profit becomes the one and only priority.. the game itself will change into something you don't even recognize, Call of Duty is a good example of that as well.

No lackeys.. money was hard to come by since the group crimes (OC's only, later on heists) didn't reward you nearly as much as nowadays.
Ranking was so much slower, took way more effort to build your account into something. Families were limited, so even being in one was a privilege.
So yeah, times do change and not always for the better. That's why I still like to see a family who just goes "Fuck it, let's do this" in stead of following the usual path.
