Brando posted a news item about big new changes coming up for Omerta.
It seems they have been offered a chance to get funding to hire four new developers to make a Mobile version of Omerta.
Yet the funding doesn't seem to be enough. They're opening crowd fundings and are relying on your help!

Well, obviously no crowd funding project for this game will ever come near $100k (or 200k).
I guess it's time for Brando to realize he'll have to give away some equity if he wants to raise money. Maybe that's what this is about anyway - driving up the selling price by making this campaign go viral.
by the way:
some countries do indeed have funding projects that high, and they usually focus on areas like IT. Of course I still wouldn't believe anything until they, you know, show some proof.

It could indeed make the game more popular, which is allways fun imo. But I think they should invest themselves since they will make profit out of it, and not us.
I'm totally up for a mobile app, it could give the game more players and bring it back to life, but I'm not paying for it..
