In that case, you've probably been playing at the wrong families.

It seems some top/veterans don't want to share what they think are secrets.
So the new base will never develop and will never be an renovation ingame.

Indeed. If no one will talk to you, then change families.

I think the whole community dont really like to "teach" the new players.
I playerd several time ago, and got back on 4.5. There were some big changes not on the way of playing, but as i had seen everyone playing it manualy (or with rankscripts) and not with lackeys it got more action in the mean time. From 4.4 till now - 4.6.2 - i reach brug in all versions, thanks to lackeys, but i wont say they are the problem or what they can be (a necessary evil)... but the question remains on my mind... "How i play this game?" or "What can i do to get better and better?"
And i wont accpect like... "buy more bullets..." "get more money..." on 4.6.1 i was #30- bullets and overall #50- was not a bad acc.

Complementing your idea, with this fam you can teach the new players how works a fam, if some of them are high ranks so give a chance as a capo... show him how to manage a fam, what he need to do, all the set up from the famaly control pannel and so on... (as i would love and probably will do in any further version)
I agree with the concept but i think today almost no one really care about this.
Lets hope for some changes.

To avoid flooding the same topic, I will bounce this idea off this topic to see if anyone might be interested.
Omerta still sees a few newcomers from time to time, looking to learn what this game is about. While most of us are old veterans and are mainly logging on to check lackey credits and do a quick heist, it must be pretty difficult for a new player to receive help.. (I mean, we all know what it's like to sit in the #help room to wait for assistance)
I think it's important for our community for the player base to take the initiative on this one:
We start a family for beginning players. To do this, we would need a few volunteers to sit as Don and Capos, so that a new player can actually join this family in order to receive experienced guidance.
Every family top needs to come to an agreement that the players in this Beginners family are off limits to shoot. In order for them to be a part of this family, they also must agree to and abide by our rules, which means no shooting other players (That is intended to ensure that they do not interfere with other families).
While members of this family, they will have the Don, Capos, and other veteran volunteers available to answer questions and teach them the mechanics of the game. [I believe maybe other families may wish to volunteer their tutorial servers for the chance to make new friends and to attract players to their family]
This will allow a new player the chance to enjoy a ranking experience for the first time, while learning how to play without being discouraged by random killing. Once the player has reached mobster or soldier, they will be free to leave and join whichever family they choose.. Or they can simply remain without a family, if they choose.
I quoted this just because I think you're absolutely right and my post above is about the only way I think we could help this game out, despite the development team.

Ahyes, the 1vs1 meetings, what a glorious waste of time that was.
Also this game is about the most newcomer unfriendly game in existence. It barely has the right to call itself a game unless you are top, in which case it turns into a unpaid job.
But alas, a super-computer isn't able to calculate the amount of fucks admins do not give about any suggestions given throughout the years.

3. Finally, as an example of that this 'all families have to agree' crap does not work: the Lucchese pledge of a few versions ago where one would take only 4 bloods. In the end even the families that agreed to this nonsense broke their own agreement indirectly.

Like MurderInc, I'm going to go back to this point.. Lucchese's idea did not work because they explicitly blooded families who had more than 4 bloods. They didn't believe in it their selves.
Lusa and Righelli each had at least 5 bloods that server and all but declared that the three (Lucchese, Righelli, and Lusa) would stick together. When you have 3 families who are basically an alliance, with uncommon bloods, then you end up with an alliance blooded to half the server.
No one can be blamed for that failure other than Lucchese. I was in that family and I thought the whole limiting bloods declaration was meant to be a joke.
If you want an idea to work, the group behind the idea actually has to make an effort to see it through.

As much as I would not like to kill your dream.. it's not like you're the first one suggesting changes and you certainly won't be the last one. The crew, CEO included, is deaf to whatever suggestions are made. It hasn't ben any different for the past 10 years.
You suggest some kind of ridiculous system where all new players can join a family but you are clearly overlooking some major problems here:
1. Many (i would say most) new players come to the game through friends that have been playing it for a while. They certainly won't join some 'newbie' family just because they are new.
2. There's always people trolling. The omerta community is probably one of the most spiteful ones on the internet. I'm sure they'd be killed for fun (i.e. by saros and his little helpers).
3. Finally, as an example of that this 'all families have to agree' crap does not work: the Lucchese pledge of a few versions ago where one would take only 4 bloods. In the end even the families that agreed to this nonsense broke their own agreement indirectly.
Have a nice day. My advice: stop trying to force something in a game that is a lost cause, it's a waste of time. It's not just the crew that doesn't give a shit, the players have ruined it throughout the years as well.
Ps. Yes, people like me are the ones ruining it, since we don't believe in change and aren't open to actually give these suggestions a chance. I've been there, maybe you'll come to the same conclusion soon enough.
Adios, back to enjoying-the-summer-mode

Logger is up and running again, however because it was down for about a week, all kills from that period won't be applied to famstats etc. That means dead accounts still show up in famstats, which is why for example Gambino still has 26 brugs there (when in fact it's just 1). Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about that.

The concept isn't bad, just needs more fixes. Rank system should be different imo, more about points, less about the actual ranks, same for killing. And more things should add to those points, like group crimes, races and maybe a shooting game for 2 players or something like that.
Then at rebirth you should keep your points, so that it is worth it to rerank again.
You could even think about changing the values you need when you make a family. Lower it to soldier, but make a minimum requirement of points instead.
Then lastly you could make the unlocks something you actually manually have to do shit for as a family instead of basing it on ranks and money.

i think people should keep the bullets they did shot to their rebirth acc including backfire ones so that can motivate people to re rank and have to have a chance against the ones that have amounts of bullets shot alrdy. this would be cool for .com too
