Due "whatever" reason.. some people call it a bug, some people call it something with the database, some people its a mysterious link again..
But this afternoon we saw with in the hour a money loss of over 800 Million and it kept dropping.
Object owners seemed to mysteriously lost large amounts of money, sometimes up to $200mil per person, without any traces. Admins could not find where the money went to either; it was just suddenly lower than before.
After the object owners went to complain in #help the objects got closed down.
A total of over 1 billion dollar got lost due this.
We have no clue when the objects will be open again.
UPDATE:
Objects have been opened again. It seems the casino owners who lost money wont receive compensation, even tho this was not a bug, and also no one gained anything from it.
Update 4th July:
The troubles are far from over, it seems. After first the object owners loosing money, now it's up to some regular players which are having the same problem. Admins do not seem to have a good explanation about what is going on, but they did say "someone is on our db", meaning someone has hacked himself into the database where all the player data is stored of Omerta, and changed money of certain players there manually, resulting in money loss without any actual transfers. As we speak, the game itself is having large troubles as well. Nobody can login anymore, lackeys aren't doing their job and bullets nor prices are changing.

This week the "crew" for as far as you can call them like that said that it was a backdoor attack. And that it was fixed. Now there is someone in there DB.
The point here is that they lied, obviously this aint fixed since this afternoon another 200million vanished.

Maybe it's about time they stop creating new things like lackey and start fixing bugs/exploits etc.
Example the bug in BG Joe, it was reported 1 year ago and still aint fixed. The response from the crew ( #help ) was "low priority".
