What appears to be a suicide from a Local Chief within Siberia took down the only don of Phoenix, and thus it went down.

Yes, its true. We have decided to not go up again. We dont see any point in prolonging this version for more than necessary. From the beginning we were warned about playing, due to there being only one side in this game. Sadly we overestimated this playerbase. We are NOT retiring because of the suicide. We are retiring because the game has been closed before it has begun. The numbers are there for everyone to research themselves, in the end my words will prove it regardlessly. For versions massblooding has been the death of omerta, to the extent that 13 measly fams chose to play v5. Or 14 including us, but honestly its not worth our time.

Im am not succefull enough in life to be able to spend a shit load of money on Omerta. Nor do I have the time to spend endless hour ranking. Now and then I play a vers where I spend a few bucks and have a decent account. What I wonder more about than the money is the time. How is it possible to spend so many hours online? I know account sharing and tv is a thing (used tv one vers myself but it was kinda boring so havent used it since) but stil. No family? No gf/bf? No friends or social life? Or is it just fuck everybody for a few weeks cuz now Im gonna play? Serious question, and no judging, if someone cares to reply. :)

Aeterna will be the biggest loser of this round probably. They just brought back so many old players (even they called back old vaffanculo members) for no reason. They probably were waiting siberia to get weaker fighting phoenix. And now phoenix is gone, their motives are nullified also. I just wonder why do you guys even returned.

the people im most disappointed for is the members that ranked for phoenix this round. i dont know how any top can just decide to leave all their members alone after making them rank for a week, giving up their time and spending money on dcs
as a top once you make that decision to go up you should do it for them even if you want to give up after 1 of your tops gets killed

People only complain about massblooding when its convenient for them; when they cant manage to surround themselves with enough bloods to be the largest side. Phoenix has been doing that for several years now.

I get were he's coming from though. He and his family played their own part in the way this game has been going, as did we(Siberia). But in the end imo it just comes down to pisspoor management from the guys running this game.
We've been waiting endlessly for this new warsystem to be implemented. Any dev worth his salt would've had it fixed about 2 years ago. Not so for omerta. We're on v5 now and still no new warsystem. Promotion for this new version has been a mockery aswell. One text right before the version's starting.
