So where were you playing, when you'd play?
I played from 2.1 through 2.5 and tried many different families to meet different people and learn as much as I could come across about the politics and strategies to building accounts and families. Some I liked, some things I realized I did not have time for.
Out of the families I was in, I helped found 2.2 Andalusia, 2.3 Scorpions, 2.4 Santeria, and 2.5 Essence. I've been a leader in a few other families, but I do not wish to take credit for building them.
I recently came back and joined Gambino, NWO, Andalusia, Persico, Kamikaze, Lucchese, Annapolis, Templari, and Illuanna. Though I like many of the people who I have played with since my return, I do not like the state that this game is currently in. The entire attitude has not changed since illegal scripting was as common as donating members.
