ehm actually turks shot eachother many times in this version. and shot in previous versions as well.
if your theory was correct , then there shouldnt be any non-turkic family which is still alive.

Ezhov is still top in sama, so i don't know where you talking abouth. And tops aren't sitting ducks, how you can go into war iff you only have 3 or 4 shooters.
If you only have 3/4 shooters you are per definition a useless fam wich shouldn't have gone up at all. Samagono have had some great versions, 2.9 can be mentioned, where they won.
But this version I have hardly noticed that they were around. Looking at their wars:
