Both parties hired detectives as the war was comming for days already. According to several rumours Presidential shot too early which Anonymous replied with shooting on Vincitori+.
Anonymous is a mix from the following families: Gambino, Leviticus, Notte and Tempestuoso
Vincitori/Escalada, Gravano, Presidential, Liberta+, Anadolu, Vengeance, Hangover and Caliente opened fire at Anonymous
Defensive counters:
Purgatory opened fire at Caliente and Presidential.
Vertigo opened fire at Presidentials + Caliente (Vincitori unconfirmed)
Serenity shooting at Vincitori+
Ilimitada shooting at Escalada
Attacker side jumping in:

I disagree. Bringing down Conflict or Maranello would have made a more lasting impression.
And they had that chance for a week more less.
Now the fams that backed out last war have to deal with the healthy part of the pact.
But, I always respected you as some kinda mastermind in this game. So maybe the war will prove you right afterall. But the way things look, I still think finishing off Maranello Conflict would have been better.

Besides that I think the damage Anonymous has done so far themselves is pretty nice, the ratio of their deaths vs the kills they made is quite high, higher than the last big war. So they are actually doing the most damage they could.

You have 2 different kind of situations in this war: Anonymous on one hand and Vertigo/Purgatory on the other hand.
To start with Vertigo/Purgatory. Yes, they should have stayed in the last major with with Syn/Lab/Cor/Kuro. With these 2 families staying in the war, the chances of getting a couple of families from the defending side down would have been very high.
It should have been obvious for them, that they would be the target of the pact rather sooner than later once the pact got their strength back. If it wasn't for Anonymous coming up, the time for them to get shot was probably this war instead of Anonymous.
Then Anonymous. Anonymous had their members in pretty much every family in the game before they got up. For them to shoot in the last war would have been impossible, both in coordination as in obligation towards members. As they had members in both sides of the war. For them the best course of action was to gather all their strength and see what they could do.
Íf Vertigo and Purgatory would have stayed in the version war, Anonymous could have been a success. Now that that didn't happen, it was bound to fail, yes, but they still did a nice job killing a decent amount.
In short: Vertigo/Purga could have done better. Anonymous did the best they could.
