Basically they removed the ranklimit and everybody that was at '300%' (Most of us have known that rp still counted after the 'limit' ever since they introduced it but hey, Brando didnt) started of at 300.01 etc.
So there was no difference at all between an account that had been ranking since 5months and an account that hit 300% yesterday.
Needles to say, the outburst was rather heavy and thus they quickly rolled back the change, removing all newsposts about it in the procces.

Its just another screw up of an 'omerta boss' that has no clue what actually happends ingame and cant seem to grasp that.

I do belive I know more history than you, my good man from turkey. And I know from history when a entire race (Black people, asian people etc ) have been treated badly its racism, but again, turks aren't a own race.

I applaud you buriaL for your mastery of the English language. You are much better versed then many of your other countrymen. While I give you accolades for your linguistic abilities, I have to condemn you on your rush to judgment and personal attacks against others who you deem as racist.

In my country, being labeled a racist is very hurtful and it is not a term thrown around lightly. If you unjustly label me a racist, are you now being racist against me? I briefly shared an MOC channel with you recently when I made a comment about typing like a Turk. The comment was meant to embarrass the MOC organizer. He assumed I was someone else (who was a Delivery Boy with a Turkish profile flag) even though I had already provided him with my ingame name and he put it in the topic. Once I made that comment you immediately called me a racist without allowing me the opportunity to explain why I made the comment I made. When rkellylovespee made his comment, you immediately labeled him a racist and a retard. Were his comments really so mean to give him such a label without allowing him a chance to explain himself?

To understand why why players have a negative image of Turkish players I think you first need to look at the majority of Turkish players themselves. This dates all the way back to the large influx of Turkish players into the game (2.4 I think?).

There were a LARGE number of players (and still a smaller but still larger number) who refused to communicate on .com in English. And not only did they refuse to attempt, they were rude when you didnt go out of your way to communicate with them in their language! Right from the start they entered .com as if it were .tr part 2. To this day they establish Turkish only families and communicate only in Turkish with family members, RIP forums, family pages, etc. with no attempt what so ever at assimilating into the .com rules of English only.

Also, I dont remember the exact events that sparked the "smash racism" campaign but I do remember that it was something pathetic. They did themselves a huge disservice by waging such an inappropriate campaign. At that point in time the Turkish player-base effectively got themselves labeled as unjustified whiners.

And lets not also forget that during that same time frame Turkish were known for suiciding for no reason at all. If someone called them something they didnt like, if someone called them something they did like, if they didnt want to play anymore, if they wanted to play in another family. I was top in a family during that time period. If you sent invites to 80% of Turkish players that asked for them you were setting yourself up to either be held hostage with threats of suiciding or eventually guaranteeing yourself that you would eventually have to pay out compensation money to other families because of a suicide. I even remember one incident where a Turkish player suicided on one family because he didnt like the one our member talked to him during an OC. In a totally unrelated incident, one of our Turkish members sucided on a member from that other family for an equally stupid reason. We all just laughed and called it a wash, no compensation money for anyone.

This is long winded but, as you suggest Redspeert doesnt know history, Im not so sure you understand the history of the Turkish player in this game since the big rush many versions ago. While you may be correct, many statements made by players these days may be unwarranted I believe you should hear them out before labeling them racist. Many non-Turkish players in this game are still very bitter towards the majority of Turkish players who came into this game so arrogantly in the past and towards the players who even to this day insist on playing in only Turkish circles.

You can label me a racist, a retard, a dumb American or whatever else you wish. Truth be told, I have many Turkish friends in this game and I think ill of no one in this game. I make fun of everyone, myself included, equally.

Morale of the story is, dont believe for one second some people in this game dislike Turkish players simply because they are Turkish. Some people in this game dislike Turkish players because of the reputation the majority made for themselves when they entered this game many versions ago and the reputation some keep alive to this day.
