u may complain all the time people but don't u see the devs are doing a great job.
omerta speed never been so fast.
they are fixing stuff that is bad.
they even have a channel to communicate to the players especially for this reset.
i think admins did one step forward, doesn't mean they rock now but its a good start to work this way.
some credits to devs is not a bad idea i think.

The thing is, regardless how long exactly you can stay awake, that you'll be fucking shit after that period and will need to crash in your bed for a day. Which obviously means you can't sleep 4 hours and start another 48h session.

This used to be a social game, where your communication and organization skills were worth something.
It was based on one and only account's death, which caused you to use brains and think before doing stupid things.

If you think that managing an army of dupes (be it undercover in rivalling fams or in allied fams) doesn't require communication and organization skills you are far from the truth. Never fail with a chat, never fail with a proxy, etc ... and shooting at pretty much the same time with 20 accounts, etc ... that requires great game insight and organizational skills, even more if you want to establish your position later on, i.e. not just dumb suiciding.

Well trust me, taking on an established family on your own absolutely rocks in omerta. Killing someone who has a big mouth towards you with a hidden account is the same. People would have to be much more careful about their actions, i.e. the roll playing aspect would come back to the game. And the gameplay would be much more intense.

Besides the fact that they no longer have a rule which they can't verify (numerous ways around), this is the single most important benefit. If you play Diablo 3 on hardcore (if you die, you lose your toon), you can just play another character that you casually leveled when you die with your main. You don't have to start from scratch all the time.
Versions would be more active near the end, and people would actually have a chance to retaliate.

I have a little bit experience with multiple accounts, and no one is gonna tell me that all the suicides from the past days are genuine rankers. Who's behind it? No fucking clue.
But it's once more clear that the 1 account limit per person is the most retarded rule which they try to enforce now for years without success. And for what? The game would be way more fun if 1 player could get as many accounts as he / she wants.

You call that the "only mistake"? The importance of shooting together in a war is the absolutely very first principle one should learn in omerta. Hell, in 2.1/2.2 we even in-killed people who shot 2-3 minutes prior to the first wave because they jeopardized our attack.

Auto deleting downvoted comments will cause forum pvp: people will ask friends to remove good comments that reveal truth or place them in a bad spotlight. I like what wowhead.com does: if a post gets downvoted it collapses, but you still have the option by clicking it to make it visible and read what the idiot poster had to say.
For example: http://www.wowhead.com/item=1728#comments
If you scroll down a bit you can see posts just containing the poster name & date, since they received too many dislikes. By simply clicking it you get to read the post.
The big advantage is that people get to read the whole story rather than have to guess what the deleted post was about.
