I actually think "advising" ex-scripters is a good thing in this instance.
What if all ex-scripters didn't change their password and all of a sudden they would deploy a mass hacking and just start shooting random people? People would cry their fucking guts out. Blaming the crew for not doing anything about it, while they knew about the hackings going on.
Imo this preventive measure is a good one.

No. People's accounts are getting breached because they have used the same password (in the past) on scripts as that they are currently using on their Omerta account. That's what Bramble meant.

Like so many have hinted and seen happening already this version. The big construction companies owned by the local maffia were using their power to gain money in even darker was than usual for thugs. The feds caught on to the fraud and execution the culprits.

With this amount of wars it kind messes up the statistics if you adjust the times on a closed war, as the other families have been in war again. Giving a wrong impression.

Because most of those goldfarmers in other (non text based) MMROPGs are actually chinese. They do nothing else than just perform the same monotonous action over and over again. Just like manual ranking. Never heard of Finnish gold farmers...

dude just STFU if you don't know what you're talking about. NO ONE had 90% ontime, you get punished AUTOMATICALLY after more than 34 hours of ontime (48h period). the ontime display on OB was bugged, that's why you saw 90%+ for some players. -.-
I would put the maximum ontime possible without scripting/sharing or whatever at around 60%, so yeah, the top 20 ontime players are probably cheating.

This whole event is just characteristic to the joke Omerta has become in the last versions. The versions have been played with faulty coding. Instead of going with the old, yet bad, code and leaving the new code to the "test area", they have started to apply the changes slowly to the live version. Which led to the major fuck up of the last weeks (and maybe even the last versions, loopholes etc.).
I don't understand the current approach to this game, these entire weeks have been a waste to anyone who's playing. I feel sorry for anyone who's ranking up their accounts currently. I certainly hope there aren't any suiciders out there who will take advantage of the current set up and waste other people's precious time.
Old code, even as fucked up as it was, should have been used, while the new code was created. The new code, all of it, should have been implemented all at once. Not partially at a time.
It's a shame old time players let themselves go like this while the version was fucked up as much as it was. There should have been (and there WAS) a status quo between families. But they defied it. Didn't expect that from people playing this game for years on end.
The crew should be ashamed of this occurrence, even if they intended to do good.
