It is not about staying offline to maintain your CD rank. It is about tops moving theremaining people in the family around to keep (read: repromote) all your capo's CD.
To all the people who say there have been many instances where this happened, I think you are strongly exaggerating to make yourself feel better.
Not many families have survived a war for such a long time, that all their members got killed while their capo's remained alive, to have the need to move members around because you can't keep all regimes at 750 or higher.
If this is so prevalent in Omerta, please give me an example or 10 of other fams doing it.
Besides that, about it happening since 3.0, that's bullshit. Regimestrength has only been implemented in 4.x.

Red will be all families that are sided with the initial agressors and Green for all the families that are siding with the initial defenders. Regardless of who attacks who within the war.

Sherlock, this war started earlier, thus the logger started sooner with recording data (as it was a war the Bulletcount and Moneycount started to drop). Then half an hour later the Templari war started and that wars logger started. The logger can't seperate bullets lost from seperate wars at the same time.
It isn't that hard to figure out why this war has more bullets lost than the Templari..

Maybe true in essence to an extend that these accounts, this version, could have died in a couple of shots. But unlike me last version, there was no way that these accounts would have had to put up with a far outnumbered situation like me. Thus making it impossible for any group of families to even target them. As they would just go into SH for 10 hours and let their bloods clean up the people that could attempt to shoot.

Incorrect. Marsh promoted about 12-13 hours before Jack. The ob statistics aren't 100% accurate as Marsh promoted when he was offline, which makes OB not update the promo at the time.

1) no RP / money type bugs to start with?
2) as a developer i understand this could be unavoidable at times, but a less harsh punishment?
e.g remove half their money, vehicles and bullets and drop them 2 ranks?
3) make public annoucements of any bugs you've found and the punishment if people exploit it?
(then they cant play ignorant and if they still abuse the bug then fair enough A kill them).
I dont want the admins pushing away decent players and making them retire unles completely unavoidable...

I had nothing to do with the change of topkiller in the version. People that spoke with me regarding the situation prior to the change will know that. They also know that I didn't give much of a shit.
The system, if read plainly, was fucked up, yet the amount of info given (nearly none) about who gets the rewards leaves a lot of room for interpretation, is there an algorithm? Are there factors other than just chief+? It doesn't tell. Just like the KA isn't disclosed, maybe this isn't disclosed either.
It was Kujala's right to try and become the top killer. It was the crews right to revise the rules.
Now quit the discussion.
