This is what Accension & Lusa waited all the round so far to do? Shoot in a war that gains them nothing.
I wonder if Accension & Lusa actually considered trying to win the round for themselves? They found themselves in a pretty amazing position after first wars - The only two families in the game yet to shoot - everyone else extremely wounded & empty. What to do with such an amazing opportunity? In the end they (Accension) choose to bloods Gravano/Krays/Fidelitas - wait another week or so until everyone is recovered a little and then shoot some useless family for an object which isn't even nearly worth the bullets and resources they used to get it. I have to say well played - I would never have thought of that....

Through my years in Omerta I have met players that I found to be honorable, stand-up people. Only to find out one or two versions later that they were cheaters. Everyone plays a game here whether it be some dude pretending to be a hot chick or some dirty cheater pretending to be a great player.
You can think what you want about me, I dont care. And of course, you have no way of knowing if Im telling the truth or not. However, why would I sit here and admit the bug was used but deny knowing it existed? What does that get me? Nothing. Yes, some of our Top abused a bug. As honest as I am in that statement, this one is equally honest: Just as many people in our Top was very angry the bug was used, and didnt know the bug was used as there were people in our Top who were using it. Just goes to show, not all of us knew.
And as far as the hundreds of millions that were being spread around, we won a TON of money with our casino's. Italien also won hundreds of millions on poker. So most of it appeared to be legitimate at the time.

During the 11-01 war, my account died very early (2nd wave I think). I immediately started a new account. Since I was going to be online for several more hours, and it looked very grim for us, I told everyone to send me the family cash they had (Family Bank, Casino's, etc) so I could fund the shooters throughout the war.
Simply collecting the Family Bank and Casino's, I had 700m. None of that money came from any of the bug abusers. Most of it came from the accounts that are still alive today, our object holders. So when I knew for a fact that our casino's made a ton of money, along with other Tops gambling and winning a ton of money, why would I suspect anything?

I'm not calling you an idiot like you suggest. Of course it is possible you didn't know about the abuses going on but you have to acknowledge that the most likely scenario is that fellow tops of the abuser would have, at least some idea, that something was going on and you cant blame people for reaching that conclusion. It sounds strange to me that you would hide what you were up to from your own tops. If that was the case sounds like there was a serious trust issue inside your top which jeopardised the family you were all working for (downed the fam) and people should be rightfully angry. I can at least say that if someone is cheating in Levi - all Levi tops are gonna know about it.

Im really tired of seeing this "we only blooded 5 fams" argument. Number of bloods is not the issue. The issue is that your bloods are #1 #3 #6 #9 #11 for example or that "one" of your bloods is in fact 5 families (ISPP) with over 100 bruglione. The issue is that you continually form a core group of 5 or so families which all blood each other yet also take 1/2 additional puppet bloods (always in the top 20 fams at least) each that the core can drag in whenever they please. Also all this talk about organisation. It is a basic fact that is easier to organise 5 40 brug families to shoot in a war than it is to organise 20 10 brug families, especially when many of the 10 brug families are naturally suspicious of each other and may not even like each other and often try to screw each other over. Its true both groups have the same potential but there are far more barriers to overcome to achieve success. The more moving parts in a machine the more complicated it is and more likely to break.
Im not blaming one group or another but this is the reality of the game. Saying that one side is unskilled or something is pretty ignorant.

One thing you might have missed is the fact that the other 50% of the game "Anti-pact" doesn't actually like each other and isn't really connected in any way, where as the other side is engaged in one big circle jerk (presumably while they all agree how n00b turks are and how n00b everyone else is)
Correct if everyone on other side of the game wanted to get together and have meaningful cooperation then the numbers would add up.
There is no gulf in class between "pact" and the rest of fams in the game. There are crappy useless fams on both sides.

Tactics maybe a little in how to shoot when to sh etc etc but choosing side is just for survival every fam not involved today will be killed by the winning side 1 by 1. Just like last week we couldn't wait for the appetizer cause we were too hungry for Ottomanical food. Unfortunately Anafarta+ chose a different dish (Marazzino) than they planned to (Haramiler) and our other turkish 'friends' prefered, like usual, some international food. Next time I have 1% ontime I will DOUBLE it to 2% to look for the right family to join. Does that make me not a hypocrite? You make such a strong point Smul. Regardless of my activity though, when I got shot by Leviticus and most of their twelve bloods last version, there were two simple options.
Join families I don't like or that shot me.
Join and play the sims.
Of course I could always do what you do, join someone to try and control them and scheme to make things go to my own advantage, but I already stated I am content to only play for my own family and leave the play grounds to others while my family is down. Personally I feel you have to be some sort of megalomaniac anal retentive to play your kind of game. But fair enough, at least you're better at it (read: smarter) than Battal.
Now if you'll excuse me, I made plans for this weekend that don't involve Omerta. Keep bitching, kiss.

I have never stated that I agree with the extra HQ opened. I am just pointing out that you are being hypocrite, bitching about people being "sims players" while you were a sim player last version yourself.
Regardless of my activity though, when I got shot by Leviticus and most of their twelve bloods last version, there were two simple options.
Join families I don't like or that shot me.
Join and play the sims.
Of course I could always do what you do, join someone to try and control them and scheme to make things go to my own advantage, but I already stated I am content to only play for my own family and leave the play grounds to others while my family is down. Personally I feel you have to be some sort of megalomaniac anal retentive to play your kind of game. But fair enough, at least you're better at it (read: smarter) than Battal.
