Most of the people know BASH.org i guess. For the people who don't know it. It's a site with "funny" irc quotes.
Fingon also had a quote section, for "funny" quotes from IRC.
We thought maybe its a good idea to implement this again on the site, but we want your opinion first, before we start coding on it ofcourse.
So... The question is: Do you want IRC Quote Section on the site?
P.S. Also if you miss other things on this site, feel free to comment so we know what more we need to add.

New quote system is coming along nicely with some nice features (both for members and mods), stay tuned!
If it makes the whole thing easier, I can just send you the log of everything I've ever said on IRC and you can just post that up.

Just for the record, the quotes at Fingon worked on an approval-basis. So "we" had a whole list of quotes, but they would not be publicly visible unless a moderator or admin pressed [Approve].
Most likely Redspeert who accepted these "un-funny" quotes, and he will be reprimanded for it shortly.
99% of those were user-submitted. Feel free to scribble as much as you can, and "we" can try our best to fill in the blanks.

Well, this time there won't be any "non-funny" quotes as LL won't be able to aprove them. ( He don't have any sence of humour. )
And ofcourse try a strict approach of quotes like bash.org and qdb.us for submitting (joins/parts and other useless crap filtered from quotes by the submitter unless they have an importance in what makes the quote funny :p
But not so dead as bash.org Jeez last time i saw new quotes there was agaes ago

Well... It could be fun if it was dynamic unlike the fingon quotes. The problem (or one of) with fingon quotes was that, there were no additions for days and then all at once, and all based on order of submission/acceptance (not sure which).
There should be a way to upvote (+1) or downvote (-1) a quote. And then a 'top' list, ordered by scored in descending order.
And maybe a 'new' list. Just those 2 lists then.

i agree, the voting is something we are gonna add for sure if we add a quotes section.
