While omerta has seen better days and the playerbase is dwindling there are a few steadfast remainers weathering the storm.
mIRC was shut down awhile ago and discord has taken the role it used to have back in the day. Omerta's mIRC servers were moderated, and if you went too far you would get banned, but only if you actually did something awfull.
Currently on Omerta's official discord server powerabusing are running rampant by a staff/crew member that goes by the name Jenn (Used to known as Andgamezz). Earlier this week someone took that name Andgamezz on the .COM server and was renamed to Puta, a rather offensive gesture I would say, getting called a whore in portuguese by the crew.
Just to see if there was any hold in this I made an account on the .COM version of the game and called myself Andigames (while resemblant to Andgamezz, its not quite the same). Within 15 minutes this name was changed and I was chatbanned.
I inquired on said Discord server why this was done, and that I would be asking Brando (the owner of the game) the same. This was deleted within 10 seconds and before you know it Jenn was accusing me of writing racist articles, while not explaining where I was writing these articles or what they contained.
I asked for proof of these accusations and was swiftly banned from the server by Jenn.
I will be trying to reach brando and ask him what is going on with this power abuse, and will update the article when I've had a statement from him.

However this Jenn admin seems to really be aggressive in a liberal European way, the one I take a fat orange dump on. I can see Omerta now trash because of this censorship. Why the fuck are these admins even interacting with players and antagonizing them anyways, that’s what I remember! How many bans is it now? anyways? I remember before I stopped I constantly saw bans and empty suits on a rampage in chat before they got deleted to the gulags again xD

No response from Brando. The ban have been reverted and people who shared this article first got muted for 24h but those were also reverted.
Now the question is: Is it good for Omerta to have a rogue crew member that hurts the community in the interest for herself? In my personal opinion we'd be better of with her gone and replaced with a non-narcissist helpdesk member, but alas that is not my call.
