There was 6 families standing at the moment the timer expired.

The winning family name was "creatively merged" from the namies of the families Latitante and Difference.
The Hall of Shame data puts this combined family akill amount at 75 Akills.
The families alive in the winning group combined (with as1s) have a total a total akill amount of 99. *I joke not
In retrospect the Winners of all previous v5 versions have less akills combined.
Therefore i crown this version as version 5.(A)

nope, only don of the winning family needs to be alive. others can get star even if they die. its hard to be top ranker if you die though. i remember only 1 case of dead top ranker.

Cheating has always been around. Only difference is that it is massively done nowadays if you compare it to the total amount of players in the game. These cheaters were always around, only less players overall seen. Can't blame those who quit playing though, game is dieing for a long time. The leftover players could and/or should give the deathblow anytime soon. Much more interesting games to play and enough games where it's a proper policy concerned cheating.
