Three days have past since version manager Bramblerose published the news regarding the City Map Changes.
According to the newspost and diverse crew comments there would be a great reduction in money generating family spots.
"As there are too many family spots open we have decided that as of today the following family spots will be the only ones buyable:
*Las Vegas
- Numbers Game
- Slot
- Roulette"
Et cetera for all other cities.
Three days later when the first families are up for merely a few hours, it appears 1 of the cities didn't quite had the same 'treatment' as the others.

Did the crew mean that there would be 3 spots in total in LV, or that ALL Number games, slotmachines and roulettes would be open?

I don't think you realise you left the most profitable spots in Detroit open. Detroit spots made over 2 billion compared to not even 50 million of Baltimore/Chicago/philly.
Next to that families like jannisary and marazzino str famous for having about numerous sisterfamilies and since they already made a nice pact on defending the Detroit spots together those 4 families own almost every good spot in the game.

I will be removing the doubled ones that are not used, but in LV the distribution would have to be doubled as it always was.
The idea would've been: 2 BJ, 2 Roullie, 2 slots, 1 PB, 1 NG
But since no BJ/PB it got a bit confused, and ended up with 4 roullies.
For now it will stay like this, I will see what we'll do later

wow that does disbalance the whole game now doesn't it? LV / Detroit have best spots while Philly, Chicago are absolutely SHIT. Might want to open atleast 1 good spot in those cities??

Ofcourse it's a mistake. But kinda impossible to repair it..

The only possible way to repair it would be to close the slotmachines and numbers games, so only the taken roulettes would be open. However that would mean there are still 4 spots instead of 2 in other cities.
However 1 of the slots is already taken as well, so they could only close 3 slots and 4 NG's and then there'd be 5 spots, but it's the only possible way to fix the crew's mistakes without taking it out on the players (who are clearly not to blame for this).
Edit: this btw also goes for the detroit roulette, the second is still available for purchase, so if it isn't fixed by the time that spot hits 0% another detroit object will be bought most likely.
Kcode had said that he would close all double/dupe spots so only 1 of each was open, so they meant that only 3 spots would be open total in LV.
So now there are 12 spots open in LV as opposed to 2 in every other city because of the crew's mistake.

Because of the nature of Las Vegas it would make a lot of sense to have a disproportional amount of casinos there as is the case in reality.
At least there would be a few more roullies to feed instead of just throwing the money at a single one.
