Here is an overview of the family unlockables list. As you can see there are some changes with the old one.
This is the last patch in the game who directly affect the family structure. And it will be online within 24 hours! Followed by the KA patch, who will be online before Friday 23:59 OT
It's made public so you can make sure you keep your GF or CD status when it's released.
The concept is to allow families to chose several ways and to decide who they want to make stronger first:
- Family
- Members
- Capos
- Tops
- Business
Explanation for when you want to be a GF or CD:
From now on you need CM + Regime strenght and your object needs to be open!
So if you want to be a Capo CD in Fam X. You need to make sure you have enough value points in your regime and have the correct ammount of CM.
By default you will need a regime strenght of 2000 points. This can be reduced to 750 later on.

1 Get a discount of 25% on raid look ups - $15m
2 Reset costs for an object will reduce from 25% to 20% - $15m
3 Get a discount of 25% while buying protection - $25m
4 Option to buy 40% protection in 1 go - $20m
5 Get a discount of 50% on raid look ups - $25m
6 Reset costs for an object will reduce from 20% to 15% - $17.5m

8 Option to buy 50% protection in 1 go - $35m

well, up small fam is a bit rare since we are up from start and changes have been made DURING the game.. so i encourage these changes but they should have put ALL of this in a test version and release it when it is done finished over 100% good perfect brilliant awesomish, dont you think>? ^^

there is so much money in the game right now, i suppose gambino has already 2billion in stock :)
but there will be less wars as you mentioned, and "less wars" is what ppl want nowadays. otherwise versions will be short with shrinked playerbase

I'm not sure if these new changed are actually an improvement. I liked the idea of having more strategy options in the game, but now im not so sure anymore.
I already had the idea that it takes too much ing money to buy all the market items. When add everything to a total, all protection + all bg trained + the cost you need to make to switch from full def to full att your total will be quite high.
Now they also raised the cost for pretty much every unlockable. 15m for a bigger crusher (30m for bigger crusher and demolisher?) 12,5m extra cost for setting a second successor and a hammer/buster and so on.

IMO as long as you reach a certain point(750 if u got the upgrade) it shouldnt matter if u have 756 points or 3000 points

yes. when you unlock the crusher, you can choose what crusher you want to hire after, small to big etc. all options available

He's got a point tho, when i started this game there was always a struggle for power in your city, for spots etc. Everyone wanted to get bigger and get the best(hardest ranking) members. All the changes they made in previous versions kinda worked against that. You'd get families around that started small without any wish to gain more power, on the other. That's not what this game used to be about. I'm hoping all the changes that are made now bring back the hunger for power. The hunger to own and control your city. Instead of just fighting in wars, there should a constant struggle over power.
I'm hoping they close the other versions too btw, so you'd get even more players to .com, and families fighting to get the good members from those other versions in again.
