On World Animal Day we hit the 1 million pageviews (according to Google) since the official launch of our new site on the 25th of February this year. Since by then 221 days have gone past (223 when this post is up), this results in an average of 4525 views per day.

There are some interesting facts if you look at the data:

• Our pageviews peak was on June the 15th, with 20,844 views, this is a result of a joint effort of the Marazzino war, our article about Sluggs and the Leviticus & Gambino war.


• Our most viewed article was our introduction post, the most viewed war was the Carneglia war.


• Our most popular pages beside frontpage and GC&MR are latest comments, user history, live famstats, deaths overview and live alliance stats, in that order.


• We get over twice as many visits from the Netherlands than our number two, Turkey. Visits from Turkey are again more than twice as much as visits from our number three, Portugal.


• 1.62% browses from Android.


• 23.65% of our traffic is redirected from search engines like Google.


• Last but definitely not least, in those 221 days we had a total of 23,209 absolute unique visitors.
