So, ever heard of the term "investment"? You need to spend money/time/effort/energy in order to earn (more) money. Not doing so because you will lose current income is a very shortsighted view and as we all see, it doesn't improve anything at all. It only requires a certain vision which at this moment none of the admins/owners or whoever runs the show has. There are many players who most likely would return or continue playing if the game is interesting to play again. Those players are also likely to spend money on the game IF it is worth it, also recruit new players. The game itself doesn't do anything to attract new players and keeping them. Can blame the playerbase for not being open for them, but without inside help new players are absolutely lost. If they are lucky to find the wiki they end up in another maze.
It's obvious KCode isn't the almighty god as he claims to be. I'm convinced he can do coding and all the technical shit, but that's it. He needs someone that tells him what to do and that's it. He can't manage people, he doesn't have a proper view ahead, he can't handle all the shit but he feels to good to admit that. He needs to be in the background working on the game itself. They simply need someone to manage the game, the playerbase, the economics, everything. It's a mess and the current people working/freelancing there are not the ones to save this ship.
So yes, actually the owners need to make changes that will make the current cashflow lower, just to improve for a longer future. There are so many opportunities for this game, they just need someone to see it and make a plan for it for a longer period of time. All that happens now is adjust based on the shrinking playerbase, over and over again. Look forward, not back.
