Do Honour Points still give the detectives advantage? I really don't think so... I'm not sure anymore, but in the last few versions I was in the top 5 most honored list while being CDTC and never had that $1/detective. If that advantage is still available, there must be a minimum amount of HPs required to unlock it, because I haven't had that since 2.x.

How are they suppose to make game promotion then? Advertising? They already made a budget for making an app which was like 400.000, which was an insane amount (it must be cheaper to make such an app). They are never going to make such a hugh investment (and neither would you when you were the owner of this company).
For all the people saying remove lackeys go back to the old days, that is not going to happen,
- this company makes a lot of profit because of the dc's why would they remove the lackeys and therefore the dc's
- removing lackeys will only bring a lot of scripters back, there is still a rankscript website in the air that will get a lot of custumours if they will remove the lackeys. People won't click 18 hours a day, they will go scripting.
maybe v5 has some interesting new futures that can make the game more interesting and thereby more players, i understand it needs to be tested and that tikes time, but it's active on .dm for a long time now, so i hope .com will follow soon enough.

What on earth does it matter? Honour points give you a lot of account strength points (plus the detective advantage already mentioned above), it would be very stupid from any family to not ask to sent it to your don (or other top 3).
Maybe you think buying hp (for account strength) isn't honourable, but selling like 100 dc's on obay to get bullets (and therefore account strength points) is?
Almost all the really good people that put time and effort in This game with ranking and busting already died with the suicides, that were the people who deserved honour for their ranking + busting. Since there is no bullimut limit range on .com those people keep going down by suicides, because they are too good when they reach bruglione. We better are worried about that then about a don asking for hp.

The practice of encouraging members to honor top is fine. For the reasons you mention. The msg was funny though, guys he has worked sooo hard to be #1 please lets get him back to #1 where he belongs. If he's not #1 he doesn't belong there, the msg is the giggle here.
