Lots of dupers are already caught at the start and scripting in the newer versions is impossible or very expensive to do because of the choice to use Google's pretty much uncrackable reCAPTCHA.
So in fact scripters wouldn't even be realistically seen able to script, so they can't get punished for it either.
Forces people to play fair at least, even though this captcha method is highly annoying compared to the easy to type codes we deal with today.

agreed,those captcha's really messed with me but it has proven to be succesfull so i would vote to bring those to .com
more benefits from those captcha's are : easy to bust,boost ( as far as that is needed these days )
only downside i know besides beeing annoying is people that get shot go to killpage 9.55sec after to SH and they get the captcha :'') i've known more than 1 guy to get killed cuz of it xD

Easy solution to the teamviewer shit is give everyone the opportunity to do it. It's nearly incatchable and certainly you can't prove if someone uses tv. So you can't blame admins for not catching it imo. Other games have solved this by giving you the option of shadowing 1 or 2 accounts. Meaning when i'm off you can do stuff on my account, when you're off i can do stuff on yours. It has leveled the playingfield and pretty much everyone is satisfied with that.

About more cheaters, everyone got them, some agree, others dont but unless you spend large amount of money in dcs, you cheat if have lot of bullets. Poker may help to, but there are few good players :)

I think the only companies that were successful with lawsuits like that were giants like Blizzard, and it probably cost them more than Omerta makes in a year.
While I agree that scripts aren't exactly good for the game, I think their impact is relatively limited at the moment and there are probably things that should get a higher priority for now. Besides, it's essentially a solved problem on v5, so it won't be too long till scripts are gone for good on .com as well.
Things like the numerous money exploits that were fixed in the last 1-2 years had far more impact on the game balance, for example, but that seems to be pretty much solved for now (there doesn't appear to be any wide-spread abuse at least.)

Besides, it's essentially a solved problem on v5, so it won't be too long till scripts are gone for good on .com as well.
Things like the numerous money exploits that were fixed in the last 1-2 years had far more impact on the game balance, for example, but that seems to be pretty much solved for now (there doesn't appear to be any wide-spread abuse at least.)

it's time for the admins to do more about catching cheaters. Yeah the admins are trying to catch dupers which is good.
But there is still a rankscript website active (why haven't the admins taken that down, for example forced by legal action). Because a legal process is to expensive for them? I really would like to see a level playing field for everyone, no advantage for scripters.

Like i already said i understand a legal process is too expensive (comparing the benefits and the costs), but still measures against scripters that cost no money (only time from admins) like being asked to join #help isn't done on .com (only on .nl and even not every version on .nl). Why not implement that? it's lame people can put a script on when they go to sleep and come back in the morning and have 1-2k bo extra without doing anything (that will also give you rankpoints in the beginning stages of the game)
