Ok, one family has 50 manual rankers, and 5 people who use IRC. Another family has 50 lackey users and 30 people who use IRC. if you think the first family is more active, you're delusional. Now, we both no there are no families with a considerable amount of manual rankers - but that does not mean there aren't families who are active on IRC and have fun playing together.
If manual ranking is all you're interested in, as you seem to be spouting in your gibberish, then it doesn't matter where you play really.
Me at 16:46:29 on 06/05:
I laughed :D:D
any suggestions?
wait! don't tell me that a lackeys family is an active one
now, suggestions?

That you were in an inactive family comprised mostly of dupes. You should consider moving on.
Me at 16:40:41 on 06/05:
If you believe the codes are crap, I'll answer that it's a way to keep players around. and I agree that wars are very interesting as well. but since I passed from irc in a major war lately, I can tell you that I counted 10 ppl in the war channel. what does this tells you?
Anonymous at 16:34:19 on 06/05:
There's more to the game than reading captcha codes and clicking. If manual ranking is the only thing keeping you playing, then I would suggest you really think hard about what enjoyment that gives you. There are elements of fun to be found in wars, planning, tactics, banter on irc and the general social aspect of the game - none of which require manual ranking to participate. Which is exactly why people are happy to let the lackeys take care of ranking while they enjoy the parts of the game which are actually fun, without having to waste their lives on the boring crap.
I can tell you for a fact however, that you are not the last completely manual player in the game.

It is my belief that the game died when lackeys were introduced. and since "scripting" is legal nowadays, nobody's interested on akilling dupes. Players are happy to rank fast and shoot 60k bullets easily and admins are happy profiting. win-win. For me, as the last completely manual player, the most fun part of the game, is while you're trying to gather a million for your first plane. The rebirth feature I liked. But still it's tragic to pay a machine to play a game that you should. If you don't like the game, just leave. If you like it, play it

My MAIN question - how the f people ranked back in old days after they died? As they did it - often few times. And no - the answer is not "they scripted better".
I know many manual rankers (me included) that died 2, 3 times each version and always ranked back till brug (or very close to that). Back in days - everyone couldn't got killed, then there were no supermen accounts. Maybe that's why also old versions lasted longer? Fact is I don't care (play) anymore but maybe someone (devs) should think about the reasons.

None of what you said really contradicts my statement; the attackers had more people and lost due to the defender's better accounts/tactics/trust/whatever.
But the problem with claiming it was equal, is that all of the attackers were in it from the get go. The defenders had to spend days convincing families to help them - it took 3 days to convince Templari to do anything, and 2 more days for it to happen, as their initial solution was just to blood even more families.
So the numbers may have ended up being fairly equal (though still favouring the attackers), but for the first several days of warfare, the defenders were heavily outnumbered.
I agree wholeheartedly about rebirths - they suck. Rebirths should carry over their points to each new account for the version. That way their effort carries over, and gives them a good base to start from - and when they get back to brug, they'll be behind on RP, sure, but if their initial account was good enough they'll still be able to compete. Or any of the other 100 possible solutions that should have been implemented years ago.

Thankfully at least, it's the side with fewer members that have managed to come out on top for the last 2 versions - there is hope that with superior brains you can overcome superior numbers.

You are right about most thing, especially the "waiting it out fams" who will die in the end anyhow...doesnt matter what horse they play on they will get sold/stabbed/cleared out.
But one thing grinds my gears, ppl keep claiming the first war was a gangbang that went extremly bad and to a certain degree I agree on that, but if we count in the fams who helped clean out the opposition like Templari, Peakys, Samyo etc Pwnage who changed side in the middle of the war after taking 2 shots. (the shooters on Velentza, Trafficante and Morano) then it issn't as 1sided as some of you might think.
I know all the fams on the Righ side (I know not all of them are blooded or got any connection to righelli but it makes it easier to see the bigger picture as they all shot against the "other" side.)
Stats from the 21th of april morning makes us see this.
Attacker side(Faffie, mara etc etc.)
GF: 1
Brug: 304
Chie: 156
Defender side (Righ, sparta, midgard etc etc)
Brug: 272
Chie: 138
As we see it is def. a difference in the numbers but its not damn much. 1.12 vs 1 in brugs, and 1.13 in chiefs.
Ofcourse one might say that all the "defending" familes were not involved on the same day, and didn't even shoot to help eachother but without these families shooting the "attacker" families would not have gone down and thus we'd maybe had more fighting)
But some failed planning(Due to a short time frame, and lack of friendship between fams, bad coperation (Several of the shooting fams dont like eachother, trust eachother and so on) and exellent defending from the über-strong accs of the main fams and good counters from their bloods it went the way it did.
I also see some people talk about re-ranking, sure it can work out...but most likley it will not. As we saw last versions the winning families doesn't let the opposition rank back enough to create accs that can do damage. Ofcourse if you plan it good you can get down a family (by killing the don and sucs) if you are very lucky but it doesnt help much as they will have the family up again within hours. Strong gf acc's can EASILY kill both 2 and 3 brug's in BF without dieing while beeing offline (doesnt matter how kamikaze you go with your bg's) as you lack the account strenght to put weight behind your attack.
Short story: The KA is great for shooting and to a certain degree defending, but it doesn't let rerankers have a chanse to get back up and take revenge as bullets shot counts in alot, thus the old accounts will ALWAYS have the upper hand on them.
Sorry for the long lost and poor writing, but its damn late.

I haven't played for almost 2 years, and made an account this version... Can't believe how dead the game is! It took less than a month to kill a version... Seriously it's just not worth playing anymore... Same thing will happen all over again after reset, 25 days, war, version over. The players need to change their mentality. Restart and rerank with a vengeance. Suicide and take them down with you. Train your bodyguards accordingly, to make sure you'll take your enemy down with you. Etc... Just make it worthwhile again. You can kill whoever you want, no matter who it is. You just need to be organised... The 4 weeks version is pretty lame and boring. You can change it yourselves. It's in your hands. You just need to change the stupid mentality.

And suicide is the answer? Did you suffer a major brain injury in your 2 years away?
That's basically what we have now. Two sides who know that in order to win, the other side must be defeated. There's one great big war, where both sides pretty much wipe each other out, and then we're left with families like the ones at the top now; they don't know their arse from their elbow and they certainly don't know how to pick up a rifle and pull the trigger. So we're all just waiting for Righelli to get back on their feet and clear up this mess so we can all start over.
Thankfully at least, it's the side with fewer members that have managed to come out on top for the last 2 versions - there is hope that with superior brains you can overcome superior numbers.
Any of the families in the top 8 or 10 have the potential to win this version - but with every day that opportunity diminishes. Meanwhile they're perfectly happy to sit with their head lodged firmly and deeply inside their anus, waiting for God, Allah, Batman...or whoever scientologists pray to - Tom Cruise or whatever, to give them a divine signal and enough of a backbone to not wait and be cleaned up like the useless idiots they are. Better to have tried and failed than to prove yourself to be a weasley, low-life scumbucket, with all the charm and social grace of a pubic louse - as the saying goes.
Do something, or stop playing. Families like these (you know who you are) are just a waste of players. You've got a longer yellow streak than a stampede of diuretic camels. This is your chance to prove me wrong, before you die the hilarious death your cowardice deserves.

We should have a good laugh.
