I also know that a great many players refuse to divulge their FB info on omerta for personal reasons, including many ingame tops. FB has a lot of users, but they won't get much success if they don't make a game the community actually enjoys. And they've been failing at that. For... a while now. People seem to enjoy the game less and less for versions, while at same time, Omerta barely does anything to change that (at least, anything that has an effect).
Scripting for instance, is one symptom of a boring and repetitive game. Sure there are people who script to get ahead. There are also others who script because, actually playing the game, is boring. Only IRC makes it less boring... Omerta has refused to address the underlying causes of scripting, while trying to fight the symptoms, and failing, since... 2.7, thats 4 years, that's a lot of time for trying to fight a problem and failing at it.
Anyway this is just one of the examples of bad decisions taken by Crew.
