i have no idea how they implement the captcha, but i've seen om other kind of sites a different approach.
instead of asking for a code, they have a drop down menu with a couple of choices.
then they put a picture of a football, or a movie poster, or...... whatever
and you have to select it to continue.
these can change on a weekly/bi-weekly basis --> scripts wont have time to adapt ?
but ofc now brando is earning the big cash, he wont change it again :p

noone will rerank Kcode, top accounts already have 40-50KS and they will hunt more famless accounts. how can you close the gap with this accounts using KS farming? so you can expect that only %30-40 of playerbase will rerank and that will be a real small value when you check total players.

Some of you idiots just wont understand that a lackey account sucks dick and dies in backfire. Active accounts with alot of groupcrimes done on a daily basis weren't easy to kill and didnt die in backfire either (see monte carlo / righelli).
whatever bg setup you use, if you login 30 minutes a day, you simply die versus an acc doing 5 raids/heists + 2 oc's per day.
also, maybe you should try to gain some killskill before you rank up to 200% cdc, we saw alot of cdc's raped in backfire because they we're simply placed in a family position because of their name, not on their activity.
and yea, most fam tops are full of shit and like i said allready pointed out... placed in position because of their name, not because of their playstyle... try making your own family when you are active enough and don't be someone's bitch as a asone without regime members to boost your strengt.
small active fams beat the shit out of big inactive fams with 'famous names'

I agree that organised fams have a much bigger advantage, which is a good thing. Small, inactive fams will struggle and I expect fams to merge which is a good thing imo. Capodecina's are really much stronger than Brugs so that will give fams incentive to work together instead of 20 fams of 10 Brugs.
I do have to say that surviving has been a bit of a struggle for my family this version, even though we had a relatively easy time surviving atleast 3-4 attempts before this version. Even people with 5 defense got easily burried, it was made even harder with more attacking bodyguards. In my opinion 1 attempt does too much damage, even if someone shoots 60k.
Let's say 2-3 people are hunting a player. First shot 60k, what will most likely happen is losing the following:
Bulletproof vest, -150 defense
Transport car, -100 defense( although traveling to a other city gives you a new car..good advantage for the smart players:) )
Lee, -150 defense
Ray, -60 defense
And you only got 10-15 minutes to try and replace those items before shooter 2 takes aim at you. If you get a sms and werent online at the time it gets even harder. If you react VERY quickly you can get 250 defense points or so back before the next guy shoots you. That is -210 points defense that you cant replace..that is a massive loss that will get you killed if anyone decent shoots you.
Since 3.0 we slowly but surely have had alot of defensive items removed. In my opinion it should still be possible for a family with the financial resources to frustrate an enemy that has outnumbered you, offcourse the downside for them would that they have no chance of making backfire kills.
If after a war a family doesnt go down but instead be heavily damaged, it would give the members more motivation to rank back up for their family. I have noticed families are really struggling to keep their members together as soon as the ingame family does down.
Anyway, it's just a opinion as I know that other people would call me a 'hugger' . I just think that longer lasting wars will lead to longer versions.

I don't totally agree with you, the game offer enough protection from killing, if the ratio is 1:1 or 1.5:1, you can easily survive 2 attacks straight with a decent account, the problem here is that you will never survive a 5:1 or 6:1 ratio, that is up to players to end with that. We have been working hard to give you the tools to show you that organizated families can do more than huge amounts of unorganized families, as soon people start to understand that, many mentalities will change.
The fact that it's way easier now to know who is successor (Capos, Don regime only or TOP) makes it easier to send a family down, and it was proven that famless people is way weaker (Yes, that was our objective). This makes re-rank a lot more reward as you can easily take down a big family with couple brugs with decent accounts, the gap to stay #1 and to re-rank now is way shorter, there are no more unkillable accounts but don't think you are going to hurt much if you didn't take care of your account.
I admit, and we are already working on it, that the major issue for now is the duping and the Obay DC's price, we have found a solution for both and it will be taken care still during next week.
The rest, game is in a very good status both for rewarding active and good players but also for 2nd's and 3rd opportunities. The time has passed and I understand some people just got used to "Reset game, please!" and there... You have it. But I also tell you, when I was a player, the versions I won were won in 2nd's or 3rd's rounds, never ever I've seen a version being won on 1 round, but nowadays people just quit too fast and hoping for a reset.

Killing someone should be extremely hard, killing entire families with 50 brugs even harder. We have to move on from the idea that 1 war simply whipes out a entire family.

I feel like omerta atm is really good features wise but the now the playerbase is lacking. Not even 2 months after reset and only 27 families up, it's like the version is almost closed with 2 wars. Get back players it'a a fun game!
I feel like hiring Kcode was the best thing omerta has ever done, I think I haven't seen so much progress in so few time before in omerta.
I feel like omerta atm is really good features wise but the now the playerbase is lacking. Not even 2 months after reset and only 27 families up, it's like the version is almost closed with 2 wars. Get back players it'a a fun game!

leave other things and fix dupes problem is so hard to check after dupes after hdd mac or another pc hardware?and if logs more then 2 times from same mac or hardware to ban him?

the changes are good, and mostly agree with you Kcode, but the problem for this version is that you launched the new KA too late and the gap between reranked accounts and survivors will be too big...an account that dies now, by the time it will reach 1% brug, the survivor accounts will be at 4-500% rp if not more and with KS and good worked account too.
And beside that...after 2 months++ of ranking, not everyone will rank back, or even if they will do will be with lackeys mostly...
on short lines, my point is: this could work when KA and all the changes were working from day 1, not 2,5 months in the wersion -.-

I don't totally agree with you, the game offer enough protection from killing, if the ratio is 1:1 or 1.5:1, you can easily survive 2 attacks straight with a decent account, the problem here is that you will never survive a 5:1 or 6:1 ratio, that is up to players to end with that. I agree that organised fams have a much bigger advantage, which is a good thing. Small, inactive fams will struggle and I expect fams to merge which is a good thing imo. Let's say 2-3 people are hunting a player. First shot 60k, what will most likely happen is losing the following:
Bulletproof vest, -150 defense
Transport car, -100 defense( although traveling to a other city gives you a new car..good advantage for the smart players:) )
Lee, -150 defense
Ray, -60 defense
And you only got 10-15 minutes to try and replace those items before shooter 2 takes aim at you. If you get a sms and werent online at the time it gets even harder. If you react VERY quickly you can get 250 defense points or so back before the next guy shoots you. That is -210 points defense that you cant replace..that is a massive loss that will get you killed if anyone decent shoots you.
Since 3.0 we slowly but surely have had alot of defensive items removed. In my opinion it should still be possible for a family with the financial resources to frustrate an enemy that has outnumbered you, offcourse the downside for them would that they have no chance of making backfire kills.
If after a war a family doesnt go down but instead be heavily damaged, it would give the members more motivation to rank back up for their family. I have noticed families are really struggling to keep their members together as soon as the ingame family does down.

Some of you idiots just wont understand that a lackey account sucks dick and dies in backfire. Active accounts with alot of groupcrimes done on a daily basis weren't easy to kill and didnt die in backfire either (see monte carlo / righelli).
whatever bg setup you use, if you login 30 minutes a day, you simply die versus an acc doing 5 raids/heists + 2 oc's per day.
also, maybe you should try to gain some killskill before you rank up to 200% cdc, we saw alot of cdc's raped in backfire because they we're simply placed in a family position because of their name, not on their activity.
and yea, most fam tops are full of shit and like i said allready pointed out... placed in position because of their name, not because of their playstyle... try making your own family when you are active enough and don't be someone's bitch as a asone without regime members to boost your strengt.

Killing someone should be extremely hard, killing entire families with 50 brugs even harder. We have to move on from the idea that 1 war simply whipes out a entire family.

Al this sounds good but please forgive me being a bit cynical at certain parts.
The chance of attitude of players and families on how to play this game has been initiated by developers themselves. In those days of which you are speaking players and dons ware more careful about there accounts because it was harder to get to a certain position, nowadays it's like buy a dc wait three weeks and you're brug. With this chance it also is less important to have the decency to kill your enemies but still keep their respect.(meaning kill for businuss but don't flame). Secondly the faster ranking just halves down the uptime per version same goes for the easyniss to get over 1kk of bullets which was very rare and only the most active players could achive that now almost every don has it.
But you are right i think this problem is mostly something the players themselves should solve or at least try to play with honour.
The biggest problem I have with you statement is about saying that dupers are going to be indentifed. As long as admins refuse to pick out the high-end cheaters and even not follow up there own rules don't talk about ending it. The people who are cheating hardest and abusing bugs are known but only punished slightly.... But then that's also a problem of the players themselves cause they have no honour at all and again and again want to win and let themself be ruled in a family of which they know the whole top are cheats.

Killing someone should be extremely hard, killing entire families with 50 brugs even harder. We have to move on from the idea that 1 war simply whipes out a entire family.
I don't totally agree with you, the game offer enough protection from killing, if the ratio is 1:1 or 1.5:1, you can easily survive 2 attacks straight with a decent account, the problem here is that you will never survive a 5:1 or 6:1 ratio, that is up to players to end with that. No one ever survives to such a big amount of attackers, and if they did, KA would be broken and forcing bigger wars, at the moment, what is lacking is the proud of an action instead of a "don't care how to, but it was done" mentality, of families wanting to win versions so much that they end up with 10 families at end.
In my time, that wasn't considered a win and nobody would win respect for that, but seems it is working like that lately.
We have been working hard to give you the tools to show you that organizated families can do more than huge amounts of unorganized families, as soon people start to understand that, many mentalities will change.
The fact that it's way easier now to know who is successor (Capos, Don regime only or TOP) makes it easier to send a family down, and it was proven that famless people is way weaker (Yes, that was our objective). This makes re-rank a lot more reward as you can easily take down a big family with couple brugs with decent accounts, the gap to stay #1 and to re-rank now is way shorter, there are no more unkillable accounts but don't think you are going to hurt much if you didn't take care of your account.
I admit, and we are already working on it, that the major issue for now is the duping and the Obay DC's price, we have found a solution for both and it will be taken care still during next week.
The rest, game is in a very good status both for rewarding active and good players but also for 2nd's and 3rd opportunities. The time has passed and I understand some people just got used to "Reset game, please!" and there... You have it. But I also tell you, when I was a player, the versions I won were won in 2nd's or 3rd's rounds, never ever I've seen a version being won on 1 round, but nowadays people just quit too fast and hoping for a reset.
We're not going to reset that soon, learn how to deal with it.

Why not rerank? That's what I'm doing and if more started doing that instead of just whining, then the game would get more interesting - it's quite boring to play, if you reset it all the time. Now they said they have changed the KA, so you have a chance to make a comeback with KS - try to take that chance and make this a fun game.
