That's the whle point, because of the connections with other fams/tops, that some families wanted more 1v1 wars, instead of gangbangs, or 1v2 but atleast with even ratios. I don't remember what the exact ratios were at the start of the gangbang I think murderinc put up a comment of it somewhere in the article of the first war, but those odds were definitely not even. And that is the whole point, that everyone has the connections but shouldn't use them, just go 1 vs 1, no more gangbanging. But some people fail to understand that apparently, and that's what has killed yet another version after a single month of gameplay.

this massblooding started versions ago, first with affi and later with faffie. i think what you fail to see is it wont go back to the way it used to be. The game has sized to a incredible low amount of players, while alot of tops have a good network among eachother. this most certainly doesnt mean you need to be bloods but there is still a backdoor channel among these tops.
This goes for turks but dont get all patronising because lucchese and righelli using these same channels to influence "their" side of the game. All together i got to give credit to lucchese for trying to get other tops along with their "new code". but in the end the bloodlines of lucchesse & rigehelli stack just as many players as other pacts/sides/bloodlines.
So imo cut the crap and get along, when introduced with this massblooding (mostly the dutchies, no offense) there was no turning back from it. i hope you guys can except this and stop screaming here how you tried to change the world.

Basically some fams tried to improve the game with the pledge, by reducing the amount of bloods, and some fams which clearly do not need to be named were too dumb to realize that that was a change necessary to keep the game alive, and decided to keep up their massblooding and gangbanging, and by doing so kept the game shit instead of trying to improve it.

Completely agree with you Reborn. It's sad to see so many fams who were once respected and playing like pro's still gangbang a family that actually pledged to make this game a better game, to move onwards in a positive manner. Now these fams.. meh.. I can talk bullcrap about them all I want, but they're just not worth it to me anymore, it's just seriously sad.
I'm not totally convinced Templari won the version just yet, there's still some stuff that can happen, but the most likely scenario which we've seen for too many versions by now would indicate that fams will just die withing firing a single shot.
I'm hoping you're right and that all these silly fams will eventually find the brains to realise that gangbanging is meant for porn only.

We made a very public statement about changing the game play for the better. Even as other families around us that we considered threats didnt accept our challenge, we still kept to our word and reduced the amount of bloods because it was the right thing to do. Even as we were gangbanged in the first war, we still kept our word and didnt take on any new bloods. We had many offers, many options, but we hoped that we could help change the gameplay by the players for the better.
This game is dead and the players have only themselves to blame. You can complain about the admins all you want but its the players that mass blooding and gangbang wars. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Even when families make a pledge, stick to that pledge, you are still too scared to play for yourselves.
You talk about what Lucchese was GOING to do, you talk about what Righelli was GOING to do, but in the end we are the ones that wanted smaller blooding and smaller wars. We were the ones who made the pledge and stuck to it. You can tell yourselves that we would have gangbanged you in the end but it will be a lie that helps you sleep better at night.

That ratios should remain even is nonsense in most scenarios though. If there is one thing the current KA doesn't allow for most mid-tier fams it's 1 vs 1 wars. Try and lead your fam into some similiar sized fam that's offline in their villa+sms, you won't get far. Not to mention the possibilities of counters from related families to the defender. There's nothing wrong with 2/3 vs 1 ratio, depending on the strength of the defending family.
Problem here arises when non-connected fams start banding together to make a giant force against 2 fams out of sheer fear without regard for future consequences.
Common with issue of bloods, many bloodships are formed as action/reaction. Fam A bloods Fam B, Fam C notices that and starts thinking about expending their influences and bloods Fam D, Fam E doesn't like that and bloods Fam F. Nothing but a endless cycle that usually goes to the point of dividing the entire game in 2/3 sides (Anyone remember the Grav+ vs Righelli+ versions?)
Silly pledges won't change anything and hell, seems Righelli already gave up on it mid-version, can't really blame them for it either. Only way to truly get rid of the blooding mentality is tweak the game enough that it forces families to go solo and get rid of the entire blooding concept.

The biggest group lucchese?? Look at the families on top now who ONLY blooded top10 families. Compare that to the wars you've seen now and see how lucchese was not even near that as a group. 2 top10 bloods is something completely different than 5+ top10 bloods.
Next to that your own blood style was a lot top10 indeed it would've been a lot more fun if you'd scale down just like lucchese did but by shooting with 16+ families in 1 side you really show you don't even care about the future of this game.

Omerta has become so small, with so many merged fams, that if even one group of families doesn't oppose top groups, the version will turn into a landslide (like what happened last version when no one bothered to oppose Aeterna until it was too late) Really hope they merge all sub versions into one big .com version or add some interesting new changes for more variety.
Also sadly there are only about 50% of families in .com who are actually happy to shoot or join wars. The rest generally do nothing.
Anyway stop hating - wars are fun (win or lose)

Fams #8 - #11 = 2 points

Fams #20+ = 0.5 points

You guys do realize that there is a difference between lone families and pacts/alliances right? Last version the top sides were in fact rivals (Aeterna+, Justice+ & Provenzano+), but yet that doesn't show up on the statistics page because such deals are made on irc.
In other words, a rating system like this is utterely pointless when you have no way of checking secret bloods/nonshooting agreements/pacts/alliances/deals/gaysecks going on (which is still an essential part of a mafia game).
Besides that Admins should also do their job properely and start making re-ranking more favourable and somehow stop fams/players from getting overpowered through either having Detroit spots and/or having done a lot of KS farming.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great idea in theory but would take a lot for it to work in practice.

the number of fams joining in that war was most likely the result of your blooding, seeing as they would've probably ended up getting cleaned a few days or weeks later anyway. So they took their chances instead.
And let's get the facts straight, the fams that shot you in that war had 256 brugs (a few hours before it started, according to trabot) while your bloodweb had a total of 258 brugs at the time. That's not even counting the other fams that indirectly helped you by shooting with their bloods (Alcatraz, Gambino, Fatale, Mediterrano and Regicide, yeah okay, most of them are probably not worth mentioning).
So given those numbers and the fact that some fams joined that war pretty late, I wouldn't call it a gangbang (I do have to admit though, they failed pretty hard).

The actions made by the other fams in the game showed exactly why such blooding is needed. In A Christmas Carol war we got shot by 255ish brug, only reason we survived was because we managed to act first with the help of our bloods. We were against the odds even tho you call our blooding gay, if we hadn't blooded the fams we blooded, we would still have been gangbanged by all those fams, only due to our size. Don't you dare put the blame only on us for causing a short version. At least we didn't pact lulz.

You blooded to Aeterna is one thing. The FUCKED UP part is Aeterna blooding Marazzino, Anarchy, Ferrante, Empire + you AND having Lusa as asone. Seriously... Aeterna destroyed the game with blooding all those powerhouses.

We havent delivered any statements during this version, so i'd like to write a few words down here at the end.
Everybody knows our playstyle, we play aggressively and shoot when given opportunity. This version we had some really great rankers and secured us some excellent spots at the start. We had no intention of staying active during christmas, so pretty early it was decided that we'd do what we could in order to bring the version to a close before that time. Due to our pool of funds(OP according to some, i agree) we had the possibility to attempt exactly that. Tho we didnt think we'd succeed. If we had been after any stars we'd have stopped shooting the 17th, in "Christmas Carol" when Aeterna/Lusa was shot by several fams, but that didnt feel right to us, so we continued shooting at 4-5 different fams(Indel, Prov+, Levi, Krays) even though this ment Aeterna didnt have any threats after that war, while we had Marazzino & Ferrante/Empire as possible threats + some other fams. Still we helped our bloods even though it werent in our advantage, hall of fame has never interested us, we like shooting, the only aspect in the game thats still fun! After that war we started obaying, and lower/rebirth members sold bullets to higher ranked accs via obay to get ready to revenge our bloods Anarchy the night after, hitting them clear with only Anarchy bloods, purely a revenge act to respect our bloods who died 2-3days earlier. At that point most of our members had less than 60k bullets, luckily we had some funds left, and Gambino generously lent us some. We knew we would get shot, so we started obaying AGAIN. This brought alot of accs up to 60-120k and a few to 180k - Some also sold DCs to make the numbers go up. So the 19th(third consecutive warnight) Capi/Empire/Ferrante/Larocca came at us, and from the start the main target for us was to use our bullets on the threats they had accountwise. So we only targetted strong accs, had some lucky and some expected BFs. Even though the fams went down i still expect around 50brugs survived due to us not having capacity to finish them and they also seeked refuge in a common blood. At this point the version was over for us, fams alive were all our bloods.
An agreement was made by us to finish version together since Gambino/Alcatraz had helped AL during the course of the version, considering they were very close to us(Faffie) and shot in all our wars together with us. Unfortunately it didnt end that way, and im not happy about it. Maybe it would be different if we had actually been around, but 2weeks+ of no shooting is boring, and at some point it almost seemed a given it would happen, and it did 3 days before reset. Closely before christmas Gambino asked us if we really wanted to be #1 and receive a mention in hall of fame, we responded no, that we wanted us all to finish it together and we did everything we could to make that happen. And to be fair, we also thought it would.
Then ive seen alot of QQing about our bloodship with Aeterna. Last 3-4 versions we've shot eachother and in the end no one has benefitted from it. Since a designated 3rd-4th "side" has been ready to kill the "winner". If we hadnt blooded Aeterna, we would have been forced to plan against them from the start, knowing they'd done exactly the same, since we both considered eachother the biggest threat. In other words repeating a cycle we were pretty tired of. Eitherways we had been talking for 2versions thinking about blooding while having generally high thoughts about eachother. I cant say i expected AL to be as big as they were, but that didnt change anything for us, as a countermeasure we said no to some fams we have great respect for, simply cause ALs size ment that it would be rather cowardly of us blooding an extra set of capable fams, even tho it ment extra danger for us.
Yes this version was quick, for alot boring - hardly our fault, we did what we could and no countermeasures was made. With this KA you cant let some fams grind KS for an eternity then simply shoot them with regular tactics. We had the quickest rankers and the most funds. Ive never understood why Poker Basement Detroit is 10% but i'll never let a family we aint connected to run it for a long period of time. Our members got to shoot alot, a huge part surviving through the whole version, and thats a first time for most of us. Personally ive been a top ranker(first page most of the time) every version since i came back to the game in 3.52, but this is the first time i reach over 100% brug on my first acc of the version.

Still we helped our bloods even though it werent in our advantage, hall of fame has never interested us, we like shooting, the only aspect in the game thats still fun! After that war we started obaying, and lower/rebirth members sold bullets to higher ranked accs via obay to get ready to revenge our bloods Anarchy the night after, hitting them clear with only Anarchy bloods, purely a revenge act to respect our bloods who died 2-3days earlier. At that point most of our members had less than 60k bullets, luckily we had some funds left, and Gambino generously lent us some. We knew we would get shot, so we started obaying AGAIN. This brought alot of accs up to 60-120k and a few to 180k - Some also sold DCs to make the numbers go up. So the 19th(third consecutive warnight) Capi/Empire/Ferrante/Larocca came at us, and from the start the main target for us was to use our bullets on the threats they had accountwise. So we only targetted strong accs, had some lucky and some expected BFs. Even though the fams went down i still expect around 50brugs survived due to us not having capacity to finish them and they also seeked refuge in a common blood. At this point the version was over for us, fams alive were all our bloods.
An agreement was made by us to finish version together since Gambino/Alcatraz had helped AL during the course of the version, considering they were very close to us(Faffie) and shot in all our wars together with us. Unfortunately it didnt end that way, and im not happy about it. Maybe it would be different if we had actually been around, but 2weeks+ of no shooting is boring, and at some point it almost seemed a given it would happen, and it did 3 days before reset. Closely before christmas Gambino asked us if we really wanted to be #1 and receive a mention in hall of fame, we responded no, that we wanted us all to finish it together and we did everything we could to make that happen. And to be fair, we also thought it would.
Then ive seen alot of QQing about our bloodship with Aeterna. Last 3-4 versions we've shot eachother and in the end no one has benefitted from it. Since a designated 3rd-4th "side" has been ready to kill the "winner". If we hadnt blooded Aeterna, we would have been forced to plan against them from the start, knowing they'd done exactly the same, since we both considered eachother the biggest threat. In other words repeating a cycle we were pretty tired of. Eitherways we had been talking for 2versions thinking about blooding while having generally high thoughts about eachother. I cant say i expected AL to be as big as they were, but that didnt change anything for us, as a countermeasure we said no to some fams we have great respect for, simply cause ALs size ment that it would be rather cowardly of us blooding an extra set of capable fams, even tho it ment extra danger for us.
Yes this version was quick, for alot boring - hardly our fault, we did what we could and no countermeasures was made. With this KA you cant let some fams grind KS for an eternity then simply shoot them with regular tactics. We had the quickest rankers and the most funds. Ive never understood why Poker Basement Detroit is 10% but i'll never let a family we aint connected to run it for a long period of time. Our members got to shoot alot, a huge part surviving through the whole version, and thats a first time for most of us. Personally ive been a top ranker(first page most of the time) every version since i came back to the game in 3.52, but this is the first time i reach over 100% brug on my first acc of the version.

You blooded to Aeterna is one thing. The FUCKED UP part is Aeterna blooding Marazzino, Anarchy, Ferrante, Empire + you AND having Lusa as asone. Seriously... Aeterna destroyed the game with blooding all those powerhouses.
And let's get the facts straight, the fams that shot you in that war had 256 brugs (a few hours before it started, according to trabot) while your bloodweb had a total of 258 brugs at the time. That's not even counting the other fams that indirectly helped you by shooting with their bloods (Alcatraz, Gambino, Fatale, Mediterrano and Regicide, yeah okay, most of them are probably not worth mentioning).
So given those numbers and the fact that some fams joined that war pretty late, I wouldn't call it a gangbang (I do have to admit though, they failed pretty hard).
False, we started out with 3 bloods, Faffie, Maraz & Empire. Till we noticed that a certain family was forming a bridge after we declined their bloodoffer between 3 different sides (Prov+, Krays/Traffi & Grav+). Which would lead to only one thing, so we acted on that with 2 added choices to make sure we could act first (Eventho' our bloods started fighting amongst eachother even before that, for example Maraz vs Anarchy and rising tension between Maraz and Faffie).
Adding to that, I wouldn't call either Maraz or Ferrante powerhouses. Size does not equal strenght, hence both Maraz and Ferrante going down rather easy. Also as a final point, we did make a agreement to finish with 5 families, but for us that deal was broken the moment Gambino for some reason added Nwo as as0ne.

We were bloods with Anarchy, we don't consider the asone that switched to Kurosawa, but noomgzpl0ttwistnotreally back to Anarchy (who wasn't even up) without ever properely communicating that with us (I barely knew Henceforth till he came swearing in pm after we shot him) as bloods.

Cless (Bandildo ingame) isn't a Vaffanculo top, we don't have anyone from Catania and about 5 members of Lucchese including a old Vaffan/Lucchese top, we never shot for Andalusia because they weren't bloods, we never backstabbed anyone because Savagery weren't our bloods either.
