Plating only postpones the chief wars for a couple of weeks until 100% brug. But by then people are swimming in bullets so it doesn't really make much of a difference. Only way to make versions last longer is to get more players. If there are 50+ fams and 1.5k brugs alive versions with naturally last longer. The more boring option to make versions last longer is to drastically reduce the amount of bullets a player can acquire. The only thing that kinda does is making the versions last artificially but doesn't really change much else.
Personally I kinda miss the old days where you had more than two sides.

Of course, we don't expect to fix EVERYTHING that is unbalanced/broken with 1 simple feature.
From my perspective:
- We've seen a great increase in rebirth & ranking after first deaths (with plating, people still reach brug in time to help their families)
- We've seen more strategy involved in the war (families in war doing different rounds of kills in accounts without plating)
- We've finally seen a real war with Godfathers, Capodecinas and Brugliones as it should always be, instead of a Chief/LC mess where big number families always win.
I know we won't get every change right, but I think this is the right path. Game needs to develop from too early wars so everything else can work.
The app is in the making and it's crucial we get the game well balanced so everyone can enjoy it instead of turning it into a 1 month race.

It's the underlying game that needs fixing. Plating is a start and soon patch number 2 will be introduced to dm, so it would be nice if as many people as possible would give that a try so that kcode(who is actually doing good work atm to fix things) can see what works and what doesn't before it's brought to .com.
Fix the game and the mentality will follow imo. As for now, it pays to rank with a big group and kill all your opponents asap. In fact if you don't, you're fucking yourself over.
