Welcome to the new round of Omerta DM!
As announced, in this round we have some important changes:
Hall of Fame
Instead of the winning family reward, we have now a podium for families and we moved the stars to the families (family profile).
Individual stars for the don, top ranker, top killer and top buster will remain the same, but if a family wins a star it will go to their family profile.
By adding a podium, families #1, #2 and #3 share a prize from the prize pool. The prize pool is a certain amount of lackeys credits and the system will work on the following principle:
- Family #1 gets more, #2 a bit less, #3 fewer and they all get the 3 types of stars. If there are no families #2 or #3, then family #1 takes the whole prize pool.
With the family prize being based on price pool for all members, family vouchers cease to exist.
Other changes regarding Hall of Fame
- Don and members need to be at family for 50% of their account lifetime. This includes rebirth accounts as well once this time will be associated with the master account. This way, don of a family will be the account that held that position the longest, whether he is on rebirth account or not;
- Family name changes are allowed only in case of a hijack;
- If one family has 10 admin kills that family goes down;

Last time I checked closing a city for endgame purposes doesn't mean you have to be starting the version off as a family made up out of 4 different families that would have worked seperately aswell.
My points weren't about the endgame, it's about the lackluster behavior of just throwing everything together into stupid merges for the sake of merging, whilst keeping old blood habits, rather than having an even playing field and more interesting versions with more sides.
There's 11 families playing for fucks sake, how can people be okay with families taking 5 bloods :')

If admins don't want that shit, make a different objective. Right now, players are just doing what the game is designed for.

I’ve taken a look at all the channels at the time and saw tops from 20+ individual families that chose selling their identity by merging into something retarded while keeping up their old blooding habits simultaneously.
If the cucks that always performed poorly during times with actually decent families up didn’t feel the urge to prove themselves in 2019 by throwing their pride away for an incestuous merge in the hope they finally win something the game could potentially actually be somewhat interesting, or at least it would have given the changes a fair chance.
Then again, not saying that the changes would be ideal with 20+ "real" families up, since even in 20+ fam versions the usual massblooding suspects could have made their "playstyle" work by still taking 10 bloods like we've seen often before during 2015-2018, plating or no plating, but it's hard to say if things could have been better if there weren't so many weak spined faggots selling their souls and own fams in the hope for a 4 way split star.

It's faster that way, and more sure that you get the game objectives done. Gotta hand it to em that they get the game objectives done with great efficiency and speed.
Said it from the beginning when this behavior first started with the new objectives and I'll say it now. If you have objectives that rely on everyone else being dead asap and with as little chance of a comeback as possible, this is the game-play you're gonna get.
We've both seen it happen on other games like travian too, where people grouped up in two enormous camps knocking down each-others end-buildings.
I've given Kcode an end-game that doesn't rely on stuff like that, but instead on having pre-destined(lock down after 3 months or so) loyal and very active members. In that scenario having a shit-ton of bloods doesn't really help you anymore.

The other families are just playing a game we know the real game now is blood the whole server and hit the reset timer in 12 days without much action.
