Months of speculation about APA taking on GMX or vice versa finally let to this. After days of damage done by hijackers to GMX, causing them to lose the majority of their capodecinas, APA unleashed itself onto Guardians-Memento-Xzone.

In reality, the start of the war was less epic as it may have sounded in all the predictions and analyzing beforehand.
The shooting started with a few dead Brugliones here and there, which led to think that the rumbling was nothing more than just another rumor.
But then it happened. In full force, APA let their bullets rain down on GMX, while GMX and their friends in the NEFI alliance focused on getting down Righelli, which had been a thorn in pretty much every alliance's eye since they had changed names from Milanello (but had remained safely in the APA alliance).

Ofcourse, even Righelli, being third placed before the war had started, could not endure that much target practice being done on them, and within the hour, they fell.

Immediately afterwards, the shooting stopped, making many of the 'audience' think that this war was only set in motion to get rid of 'the Reds.
Just a bit later though, those suspicions were dealt with as false pretences, as APA continued to smack down on GMX, downing Liggio (Memento) and Reclaimed (Guardians) in quick succession. Xzone however, was dealt with in a different way, as they were hijacked by - no not NLS - Homeless members.

Not too long later, about half an hour after Liggio fell, Xzone was shot down as well, ending the reign of the GMX alliance.
