The admins have just announced the reset on the official news. The new version will start on the 16th of December at 11:00 OT. The changes will include:
-Attacker-friendly Kill Algorithm.
-Raised bar for family creation.
-Kill Skill II
-Lackeys II
-More flexibility in families per city/casinos per city/objects per family
-Rebalanced Hospital/blood waiting times
-More anti-cheat measures
-And the rather-late Reset-o-meter (RoM)
-Fixed maximum amount of families.
With the last two changes, they also promise to bring more democracy for the players.
It will be interesting to see what the Lackeys II will bring, since players on .nl say the new lackeys ruin he economic balance of the game. For instance, families can't give out bullet deals since bullet factories are always bought empty, even on $1k per bullet, and bullets on Obay even go for about $1500 per bullet.

too late, too little, still totally fucked (even more if possible) - only in omerta they can do that. this (= next version will suck even more) has happen since 2.x.... (some say 2.1 I say later but still).
