Tbh as much as sowrd is not a very likeable fella he doesn’t really influence the game as much as you claim. He mostly talks to american housewives in their 50s rather than building large pacts. If you look at the most uninteresting versions lately its either the ones where anarchy showed up big (“we play with all our usual bloods, its not our fault”) or gravano (“we have no excuse we just massblood constantly”) did. Funny enough the chance of either one of these families showing up continues to be quite significant, so whenever an old family puts some effort in and gets their people to play this poorly managed game again, there is about a 75% chance that the outcome of the version is predetermined. Which is not very helpful for a game that is outdated and, lets face it, has not attracted any new players for years. I doubt at this point a decent marketing campaign, which the crew is not willing to invest in anyway, would make much of a difference. People basically have to quit their social lives for a month or so to rank up a decent account at this point. Or they would have to be willing to spend a good amount of money, but only sociopaths with a large cash stack are willing to do, but certainly not new players.
So can we blame sowrd? I don’t think so. Can we blame the crew? For sure, for trying to squeeze every single last coin out of the game rather than trying to keep up with all the other games the internet has to offer and instead trying to show they care by implementing bugged/overcomplicated new changes to their already outdated source code. dont know if you are old school or not but this game stand a long time with competition of ccce(later conflict) and affinitas, as far as i know they become bloods in 3.0. when people realize that when they support one of them, they won in the end. Pacting is going begining of 2x versions. Member base was huge enough. but still there was pacting. you cant play this game with 'krays' dream. You need friends, you need bloods. Your member base play with you for shooting like hell. Most of time Anarchy members decide to play, not crews. maybe in your head, the way anarchy playing/ed is dirty. we dont have a goal like ' our win/wars should be accepted by the players which we killed.' Anarchy is a organization started with Purgatory then turned to Anarchy. This site keeps all the wars from 3,0 afaik. you can make a search with names of Anarchy/Purgatory. What you guys couldnt accept is, people playing with us, when people says in common groups, its time to make anarchy version, we can find 200 peoples who wanna rank with us (hi despot) when our friends see we are playing, they do too. we as oldschool tops werent playing actively back in years, in corona times we wanted make a nostalgia. did we get killed? yes we do. We arent crying for this. You guys shouldnt cry too.

We arent crying for this. You guys shouldnt cry too.

dont know if you are old school or not but this game stand a long time with competition of ccce(later conflict) and affinitas, as far as i know they become bloods in 3.0. when people realize that when they support one of them, they won in the end. Pacting is going begining of 2x versions. Member base was huge enough. but still there was pacting. you cant play this game with 'krays' dream. You need friends, you need bloods. Your member base play with you for shooting like hell. Most of time Anarchy members decide to play, not crews. maybe in your head, the way anarchy playing/ed is dirty. we dont have a goal like ' our win/wars should be accepted by the players which we killed.' Tbh as much as sowrd is not a very likeable fella he doesn’t really influence the game as much as you claim. He mostly talks to american housewives in their 50s rather than building large pacts. If you look at the most uninteresting versions lately its either the ones where anarchy showed up big (“we play with all our usual bloods, its not our fault”) or gravano (“we have no excuse we just massblood constantly”) did. Funny enough the chance of either one of these families showing up continues to be quite significant, so whenever an old family puts some effort in and gets their people to play this poorly managed game again, there is about a 75% chance that the outcome of the version is predetermined. Which is not very helpful for a game that is outdated and, lets face it, has not attracted any new players for years. I doubt at this point a decent marketing campaign, which the crew is not willing to invest in anyway, would make much of a difference. People basically have to quit their social lives for a month or so to rank up a decent account at this point. Or they would have to be willing to spend a good amount of money, but only sociopaths with a large cash stack are willing to do, but certainly not new players.
So can we blame sowrd? I don’t think so. Can we blame the crew? For sure, for trying to squeeze every single last coin out of the game rather than trying to keep up with all the other games the internet has to offer and instead trying to show they care by implementing bugged/overcomplicated new changes to their already outdated source code. But mostly it’s the player base. The people that think winning a version in “modern” day omerta gives you some sort of social status. Maybe they just want to watch the world burn or maybe they have just drifted away from reality so far they think that winning versions like this is something that gives them some sort of bragging rights. Who knows. If they had any sort of sense of realism they’d know that by attempting to acquire these bragging rights they are effectively limiting their time to continue doing so. /rant

Funny enough the chance of either one of these families showing up continues to be quite significant, so whenever an old family puts some effort in and gets their people to play this poorly managed game again, there is about a 75% chance that the outcome of the version is predetermined. Which is not very helpful for a game that is outdated and, lets face it, has not attracted any new players for years. I doubt at this point a decent marketing campaign, which the crew is not willing to invest in anyway, would make much of a difference. People basically have to quit their social lives for a month or so to rank up a decent account at this point. Or they would have to be willing to spend a good amount of money, but only sociopaths with a large cash stack are willing to do, but certainly not new players.
So can we blame sowrd? I don’t think so. Can we blame the crew? For sure, for trying to squeeze every single last coin out of the game rather than trying to keep up with all the other games the internet has to offer and instead trying to show they care by implementing bugged/overcomplicated new changes to their already outdated source code. But mostly it’s the player base. The people that think winning a version in “modern” day omerta gives you some sort of social status. Maybe they just want to watch the world burn or maybe they have just drifted away from reality so far they think that winning versions like this is something that gives them some sort of bragging rights. Who knows. If they had any sort of sense of realism they’d know that by attempting to acquire these bragging rights they are effectively limiting their time to continue doing so. /rant
