One of the ideas I posited in a suggestions thread awhile ago that I never went really far with was having a "bounty" on each family or hq spot.

My basic idea was based on HQ size, famworth, famrank, or whatever metric you wanted to use; a bounty would be created on the family in question. The family of whomever killed the final successor of the downed family would be rewarded with the bounty.

You could have it tiered so that the largest families might reward the successful attacker with say 10 million bullets, or $5 Billion or 240,000 units of Cocaine (I don't know if these numbers would be right, I'm just throwing out numbers that would incentivize killing other families). And, then, move down there for smaller families.

Even with this somewhat simple idea, you can add a little more intrigue to wars. Imagine a small family coming in and sniping the final kill on a family and getting hugely rewarded for doing so. Or you could want to organize your entire family to be on at a certain time for war because you don't want to worry about splitting or sharing the bounty with other families.

If you wanted to make the idea more dynamic you could hide what each family is sitting on, and have occassional "leaks" to members of other families. "Family X will be receiving a large shipment of bullets to their headquarters on August 22 according to one of our informants" or something along those lines in a few members inboxes.

Another idea might be to add a scenario at the end of kill scenario:

You have killed Godfather Blah!

With no leadership left to defend Family X you have been granted access to their headquarters. Your family joined you in looting the headquarters and other properties. Your family has received:

5,900,000 Bullets
$10,200,000 Cash
710 Units of Cocaine
400 Units of Beer
60 Avus Streamliners

Or whatever you wanted to do with it.

I'm sure others could do more with the idea than I ever could from an imagination perspective, and, actually, I don't even know if it would help spur more wars or not; if people were that interested in shooting/wars they'd be having them now.

but think about it say if they did reward after a war with say 3mil bullets (depending on target fam size) thats atleast enough to set your main rankers and online people up with another few shots to atleast shoot back after wars worst thing was always bullets bg's and all can be bought so easy on obay bullets cant take forever especially if you got slow internet :')

All ideas about rewarding stuff is rewarding either abusers or retards. Both kinda fuck up this game.

As soon as those +- 70 retard families could not even stack 1 million bullets on a account ( or 500k on 20 ) then it would be much easier for 'players' to make a difference between capable and retarded.

Now that difference is what.... nothing.

Therefor, raise the Bullet price, remove scratch, unlimited obay sellpackage or limit it to 30k or so ( Seen this an oldskool setting - 3k is another ridiculed measure )

so -- if i need 100 million to get 100k but with that i can shoot 10 people cause they are retarded and cant get money (thus bullets) its always better then having 1.000.000 bullets for 1.000.000.000 cash cause then every retarded player (+ about 80% of the fams) has at least 500k bullets.

See gambino, died, in 2 months back in top 10 with more fams in total then before, allready owning several fams in power, with less players, but could they make a difference ? Or those 7 from indelicato -

no - why - cause if they shoot 5 times they allready are 'just as weak' as an retarded player. Enhancing anything which means u can have acces to more money or bullets *(besides obay- user transactions...)* meeans more retards can have more bullets - which makes players need a lot more time before they can make a difference.

Just my 2 cents, i allready know almost everybody here is retarded, just as me, i like abusing the ways to get money and bullets, but hell, still think people like me should not be able to get 400k+ in 2 months with an 0 bullets and money rebirth (+300% rank)

No kill skill for individual people but for families, so the more kill experience the family got, the stronger the members are shooting. Will also mean less sisterfamilies cause u will be weaker when u shoot!


This also adds incentive for attacking families to finish wars. You need to completely destroy a family otherwise they will still maintain their previously built up ks bonus. i like this one.

But what if you shoot with more fams at one fam? You devide the points?
sounds really cool, but knowing how omerta implements things, it will never work right and just end up with tons of 502 errors. But it seems great, promotes bigger single fams (anyone remember 350 member fams?) and ir promotes shooting and finishing a war. The offline strength should be changed at the same time

You don't have to take it out of the context... I mentioned that if you kill a person it should calculate the KS that should be added to the fam by the overall position of that persion you killed
