Someone from Siberia, dont remember who but maybe Critical, said that they will be back on .com when V5 comes. So they should be back next veraion.
Dont think Merciless will be up ever again. Tony lost some of his top and some members last time he was a-killed.

Neither are the elite Merciless members the kind of a going away because of one shit version, most of them play only for Tony or they don't even play
But we're kind of done with the game since it's been boring for a long time and the lack of good changes and admins that were acting ridiculous towards us.
Merciless has been active for a long time because Tony forced literally the members almost to play, so we did.
Last time i spoke with him he said he is no more interested to play this dead game anymore and decided to go on with his bodybuilding career. there will be no more Merciless.
We wish all Omerta players good luck and fun as long as it lasts and maybe one day we'll be back.(if there are some very good changes)

Busters vs Rankers at 15:04:58 on 24/05:
In my opiniun they should change the whole ranking vs busting thing.
Let people choose in beginning between ranking or busting, if you choose ranking you wont be able to bust yourself of someone else out of jail and won't be able to shoot at busters.
If you choose to be a buster then you can only bust and travel and shoot on other busters, and do special crimes with other busters/rankers to earn money for buyout.

Busts are counted towards account strength, so I don't think this is an option. Also, in the current format, all is equal. If you choose to bust, you choose to run the risk that you will be killed by some asshat who has nothing better to do than kill low ranks. On the flip side, as a ranker, you run the risk that some asshat kills you just because his tops tell him to or because he wants to improve his strength. Both routes carry inherent risks, but this is a mafia game... not WoW.
