This is my first version back since 2.2. I was excited to see that I could rank while offline (which sadly for me is often due to job, kids, sleep, etc). Once I hit Brug, I realized I didn't have the same connection to my account that I did back in the day. I think it's this detachment that leads to huge fam kill-offs so early in a version, basically killing the version before it has a chance to gain any traction.

Between Lackeys and the fact there are 2-3 other Omerta sites, the number of players is woefully small compared to when I last played. The Portugese and Dutch were a major factor back in the early versions. Now, it's mostly Turkish and a small percentage of Europeans/Americans. I'd love to see them limit the amount of times lackeys can be active and slim back down to just .com and DM. The player base would get bigger and the versions would probably last a lot longer.

Those families are pretty much one mostly from people from the same time period I started.
Pact play isn't a list it's a group of people who are ok with closing out a version with the same 30 40 people.
I decided not to be apart of that group a long time ago :)
