I said the rerank feature looks like a nice idea, but it's not fixing the bigger underlying problem. The overblooding. Which is making the point of reranking a bit moot. So you guys do plan to implement a war system for v5 then? That's good to hear. I haven't played in a long time now, but I would come back to try out v5 if it had a war system.

When we're talking about re-ranking, we're hopefully talking about ranking back to brug, and not some useless lowrank suicide which definitely won't have any effect on the gameplay. So since it's gonna affect both sides, I don't see how it's relevant.

(Also, I don't think anything changed for brug and above - that seemed balanced already, it's probably just for LC + Chief)

Yes, when i say re-reanking I mean to be aiming for brug as well - but as long as the multi fam pacts are in place - another condition , albeit later in the game , where a few judicially placed suicides wouldn't go amis , making surviving accounts even harder to kill from the re-ranked accounts doesnt seem to me to help . You're talking about re-ranking, which has nothing to do with suicides targeted at families early in the game. I think you highly overestimate the effect a LC/Chief suiciding on another LC/Chief has on the outcome or duration of a version (like I said, I doubt brug and above was touched). Even more so, the change goes both ways - so I could just as well argue rebirths are better of now that they can't get killed as easily at LC or Chief. This particular change has hardly any effect on rebirths or version length. All it does is make LC + Chief shooting more balanced, which means suiciders either need to put in some effort or have backup.

We as players have a crucial point in all of this. Do we continue to all flood to the bigger families and allow them to mass blood ? Or do we join the smaller families and make the game fun again?Joining a family of 150 members who are as 1 with 2 other families who are blooded to another 3 families makes no sense! how are you heard? do you have any say? We all want change we all want mass blooding to stop, but many of us still follow the same we trodden path. I see the same comments "account huggers" If you join a large pact family, you are infact the account hugger ffs. Ah fuck it why am I bothering, see you in 4 weeks to go over all this crap again.

Btw its not related to this subject but i didnt mention this for years but imo gold donating code users, must have 50 or 60 click limits. I mean they should still have click limits but more than 40 would be good. At least it would mean something to have a gold dc apart from sms/skins.

to give fams outside the pacts you should change the being offline in villa is stronger advantage
if that is changed then small fams have a chance to shoot big fams out of the pacts when they sleeping.
its not about rebirth shit, small fams who are against massblooding pacts never have a chance now and if they shoot at a pactfam the pactfam stay offline and some asslicking fam is targetting the small fam.
+ the small fams should stop creating all build their own little HQ but join eachothers HQ to have a bigger fam and level up faster with the HQ
the newbie tops nowadays see famtop as a rank instead of having brains to combine and actually have a chance

There are 3 main features in work to fix the current situation in whole game. This is Omerta, its based on strategy and at the moment one strategy is clearly overpowered (mass blooding), this can be fixed with the right changes but the mindset of "even if I rebirth I will die" can't be fixed by us even if we provide decent rebirth tools.

Let me remind you that years ago, when game was most active you would rebirth as an Empty-Suit and re-rank (I know, versions would also last longer, but they would last longer because the cycle was working).

To another post, where it says "Why would I rebirth after I get downed in first war?":
Your idea of a war is, EVEN IF YOU LOSE, do the maximum damage you can, now... If you lose without any damage, you don't deserve to complaint of rebirth, you failed at first, your second try needs to be harder, that's fair. But, if you do a decent damage before you go down, then I assure you with the new rebirth system you are able to regain the version because the damage you made needs to rebirth with you.

Now... If you die without any damage, you deserve to have a hard life on your 2nd try.
Die with something useful done, your 2nd try will be way easier and possible.

Come and test the new rebirth system, it's important for you to understand what is coming because it's here to stay.
We have a new feature fully focused in ending the massive bloodlines. Just letting you know we're aware of it for long but it's not an easy change for a game that has been famous for it's "freedom of play".
We don't like to "remove strategies" on hard limits/rules.

the problem is the players who are to scared to play outside the pacts just to survive everything

if the pact is smaller and when there are more then 2 sides we will see more wars and longer versions since the game aint closed after 4 weeks

Who says the pact allows you to rerank your fam to bruglione and don't attack your reranks when all are only chief?

Masspacting fams will just take more bloods to make sure they also survive the rerank fams. To think the rebirth system will solve the masspacting boring versions is way too naïve.

If a family is in war with an other familie. Only the friendly families could help this families... But the families have to show the bloods on the family profile with a accept system i can send to other family inv for a alliance if this family accept it we are in the same alliance and could attack all the other alliances if i leave the alliance i can not join an other alliance for 12 hours so im alone and no help from others and if a new family join tje alliance again the 12 hours for shooting in the alliance so if family a start a war agains family b they can not just inv familys to bring down an other family they need to think about who should belongs to alliance and who not o/ and that its not hidden all others can see who is with which familys and co :) and if one alliace is attacking an othet alliance this two alliance are protected agains all the others until the war is over :)


A vs B so all others c d e f cant join this war to shoot a or b :) and think about it there could ne more options! Like city wars to take a city for the alliance if someone fight in alliance they earns experience in this alliance allianve level like family level that makes ppl to stay in alliance to get the positiv effects of the alliance and so


I know its hard to make something like that but maybe therr is some ppl who can just do one or two of this odeas possible

I respect you and your try to fix all the problems really o/
But the problem is that big huge pact bro...
Maybe you guys could do something like in clash of clans :)

Where you fight agains a clan 1vs1 :) so mass blood or asone and co would have no sense anymore ppl maybe start to build one family and fight with that :) if someone declaire war to an other familys its just 1vs1 :) if my blood want to help me they need to attack the other blood of the family ny family attack and all that gangbang style would be finished 10vs1 and co


And one of this fixed would be to take 11click limits really back in 2007 i understand it but now? Nearly 2016 i dont get it :)

Maybe you guys could do something like in clash of clans :)

Where you fight agains a clan 1vs1 :) so mass blood or asone and co would have no sense anymore ppl maybe start to build one family and fight with that :) if someone declaire war to an other familys its just 1vs1 :) if my blood want to help me they need to attack the other blood of the family ny family attack and all that gangbang style would be finished 10vs1 and co

Next problem would be like how it looks like will be hj the familys with that new rebirth system cause you cant build a new family! The next level of sui is born :) after few rounds ppl start crying like now cause there is sui who kill the strongest acc ;) thats why we got this 400 bullet limits still no solution but its ok... Do you understand the whole strategy/concept behind most of v5 features and how they will impact the current situation?

Lets keep hope for a better Omerta which is never coming but I don't even know what's coming because I didn't look at it.

There are 3 main features in work to fix the current situation in whole game. This is Omerta, its based on strategy and at the moment one strategy is clearly overpowered (mass blooding), this can be fixed with the right changes but the mindset of "even if I rebirth I will die" can't be fixed by us even if we provide decent rebirth tools.

Let me remind you that years ago, when game was most active you would rebirth as an Empty-Suit and re-rank (I know, versions would also last longer, but they would last longer because the cycle was working).

To another post, where it says "Why would I rebirth after I get downed in first war?":
Your idea of a war is, EVEN IF YOU LOSE, do the maximum damage you can, now... If you lose without any damage, you don't deserve to complaint of rebirth, you failed at first, your second try needs to be harder, that's fair. But, if you do a decent damage before you go down, then I assure you with the new rebirth system you are able to regain the version because the damage you made needs to rebirth with you.

Now... If you die without any damage, you deserve to have a hard life on your 2nd try.
Die with something useful done, your 2nd try will be way easier and possible.

Come and test the new rebirth system, it's important for you to understand what is coming because it's here to stay.
We have a new feature fully focused in ending the massive bloodlines. Just letting you know we're aware of it for long but it's not an easy change for a game that has been famous for it's "freedom of play".
We don't like to "remove strategies" on hard limits/rules.

Bottom line: wanna make this 30 days game? Ok keep it this ways, prolly dc cheaper (omg what did he said...) so more people can enjoy it as a 3/4 weeks game.
Want to try to give it a go for longer and steady versions? The only solution i see (without changing bullets buy/limites, taking some cash out of the game etc etc), and my hope for the game is the new re-rank system.
Otherwise, even for winners game sucks... its a SIMS game, people start not to come around or online...
The great value of this game was the interactivity between real people. That was the big stuff back them when it started...
Today, after some startup when people come online and are active, after first 3 days battle most - winners and losers - disappear...
Nobody ranks and me, for once, that always shoot made the stupid mistake of wasting credits when i just should have save them for next version.
I have another suggestion, but i think it was already tried once.
Why not to give to each fam that raises up and object of their choice? (of some who are available)
Lets say, the first fam up can choose from a list... and so on, and so on...
Objective? Maybe, in a long shoot, there would be more fams, and they can start getting cash faster, as most fast ranker usually are in the same huge fam, but there are always some others that are single out...
Just an idea.

The rerank system will NOT fix this. It is an improvement and adds some incentive to rerank, but it does not cure/solve the main problem with the oversized bloodlines/pacting.

What I mean is:

You get downed in the first or (if it comes to one) second war.
Then you are offered the chance to rerank against the odds for no other purpose than to rank again. The keywords are against the odds. You can't realistically hope to open up the version (not even speaking of winning it) again. So why bother?
Yes, the newer rebirth system seems to add some value to rebirth accounts, but the problem is reranking for what purpose?
