IRC problems seem to be related to the AHBL shutdown: http://ahbl.org/content/last-notice-wildcarding-services-jan-1st
Seems they started a bit earlier than January 1st. Quite a few IRC networks seem to be having that issue atm.

To get a bit more technical, it seems the ip blacklist (list of possible ip's for dupe acounts) Omerta is using changed something, so the admins might not be totally guilty of these troubles (if they weren't informed about the change), although they are still slow solving it
