That's rather ignorant; no his/her mentality is; in a RANKING game everyone should have equal chances to work on their accounts. And when due to circumstances some players can play on and some can not; this simply gives some players an advantage over others.. even if it's just for a few hours.
Don't be ridiculous, you really want to point the finger at this person and act as if he/she is just saying this out of some ego-centric point of view? Because even if that is the case; that doesn't take away that this is unfair. I suggest you stop trying to pick a fight with people by only bringing up the selfish content of their comment. Unless a fight is what you want; then by all means go on - to each his own.

The vast majority of people on the top 10 pages were affected, havn't we had enough disruption, without a rollback to top it off?

I guess we can all thank Osiris for this ddos, he was #1 on rankprogress and was frozen for a while today because his script didn't respond to the admin message. After losing the #1 spot the game gets DDossed

That said, they would've been better off picking a hoster that does a better job of mitigating DDoS attacks (and by the way, why the hell is this game hosted in Canada? :D Not like anyone's playing Omerta there ... /runs). Or just get a dedicated DDoS protection service like CloudFlare, ain't exactly expensive.
