Exactly. With more families alive, they'd be able to have more time to re-rank while the families alive squared off against eachother. Especially with no other version to run to once your first account dies. Like someone said in the "Christmas Carol" topic, these bloodlines are fine as long as there are another 60 families up to fight.
There's no language barrier. People already play .com in different languages, how have you not noticed that? It could be as simple for the admins as allowing a player to pick the language they want to play in, instead of forcing them to addons or scripts to change the text. Open up more cities, obviously a Turkish mobster family in Turkey is going to be speaking Turkish. It's not a barrier at all.
I'm sure the major issue would be the finances. Though with the way Omerta is heading, I don't really see a major growth in the playerbase in the near future so combining their scattered versions into 1 is a great idea imo.
