Back then it was nigh impossible to get more than 20k/25k busts a version. Before busting skill came around at least. And rankers didn't use to get near these amounts.

Of course you can gain advantages by spending real money. Bots buy codes for a certain amount of money. The more the money in economy, the higher the bot's price. If you sell 200 codes for $2,5M, you get $500M, that is 1M bullets in local factory.

yeah to-bid thats true there is a auto-bid system. 2-3 version ago they forgot to colse it at the begining of the version and the system bid 10m for dcs. after admins took the money back

no you are wrong , you can put several donation codes by clicking 'List Multiple Codes' in obay. this means you can sell your donation codes at same time same seceond.
