With b/n, the extra amount of money in the game will just be the difference between buying and selling, where most of the profit will be your own or of your family anyway. Some percentage of the selling value (2% for booze, 1% for narcs?) goes to a spot owner, as shown when you actually sell using the smuggling option. You don't generate extra money out of thin air this way, just the extra money that would've been there anyway. And yes, if your own fam owns that capo spot, all profit stays within the family. Since you keep travelling (or your lackey does so), this effect on the game economy is negligible.

On the other hand, with the construction companies, you all of a sudden create lots of money that wouldn't normally have been in the game economy anyway - more or less doubling a million each time you buy a villa is quite a bit. That's not what game economy is supposed to look like and has quite a different effect, especially since it gives a particular fam a huge advantage.

Also, could you please stop whining about all this, especially in this thread when there's a specific topic for this? I'm getting tired of reading the same things over and over again.

Buying and selling drugs is allowed because it is in the interest of the devs.
Buying and selling apartments was not intended.
This is the difference.

One is an mafialike action, the other is not.
Furthermore no money gets generated it just changes the person...from the traficer to the warehouse owner. With constructionsite money is generated, with narcotics not.
