It's actually more something that has to do with the families that are in the rumors right now. They could've finished it off Gravano when they had to. They, against everyone's suprise (their own bloods and probably Gravano themselfs) not to act in that war. While the Gravano bloods did all act.
Now the families that did not act back then get into the rumors everyday. If they get shot by Gravano or some Gravano blood (incase you blooded to Gravano), they must feel so dumb. ;P
The families that are in the rumors now don't even deserve to win the version, they are not smart enough. Gravano to take this version home!

if so, ppl need to grow some balls and IQ... what happened to good warplans? with multiple scenario's for several situations !? Instead of waiting to shoot at 03:00, families could've worked out a decent plan and shoot at +/- 19 OT and still get some sleep before going to work.
