-14.57 - 2.71b = -39

7a + 9 = 51
7a = 42
a = 6

Filling this given value in the other one:

6p-3q=0 therefor 2p=q if u divide by 3 both ends of equation

replace that in first gives u q+7q=16 so 8q=16 so q=2
and p = 1 ( 2q ) so u mixed up the answer :p
