Have they ever felt the necessity to make up a DDos attack, when the server failed in the past?
That's where your argumentation falls apart. There have been server fails in the past, and they have never made up a DDos attack, they posted some half assed apology: "We are sorry."
So why would they start just now? If you can give a convincing point, why they would start lamenting server got DDosed now, while they never did not do that in the past, then your points gains validity.
About Bramble not coming forward with further information. Do you think the person who did it, actually has the balls and come forward to the crew? Do you think, they have the skills to track down the source to some .pt IP? Do you think, if they did hand over the file to the police, they are bothered enough to create a task force, to track down that poor fellow, who DDosed the almighty Omerta Ltd. company?
And yes, I saw some logs from Lucchese's and Messina's war chan, so I know you were hit equally by surprise.
And after all I heard, there are some logs that incriminate somebody in Conflict heavily. (To answer eviL's question). And of course those logs are all forged to put the blame on the mighty conflict...

Thats the whole reason why I said "alleged".
No matter how you spin it, the reason the war failed was not because of the "alleged" DDOS attack. Ill concede that the downtime hurt the attackers more then the defenders ... but not as much as you tell yourself at night. The defenders had already started shooting back and the kills were close to equal when Omerta went down. Also, there was no massive defender strike when the servers came back up ... again, the kills continued to remain equal. I can tell you with 100% certainty, Lucchese got fucked because of the downtime.
Of course the admins have every reason to lie about the downtime. Whats a more likely excuse for a business trying to generate money? A) A mysterious attack occurred causing high tech and top of the line equipment to crash, or B) The servers couldnt handle the load of a massive war coupled with 9 pages of code in the KA.
Why would the admins not adopt the popular theory to push blame off themselves? Bramblerose promised more information on the "DDOS attack" ... hows that working out for you? Wheres your big investigation and information on those responsible?
Anonymous at 14:19:40 on 21/05:
Remove the "alleged". It still implies there was no DDos.
I know, crew consists to huge part of liars, but here lying about the DDos make no sense at all, no matter how often you tell that yourself.
If it was a simple server fail (like we had so often in the past), why would the crew this time make up some DDos attack? They have no reason whatsoever to make it up. And again, thank conflict, their action made that "excuse" possible. But if that keeps your boat floating, keep on believing in the big admin conspiracy, and also Teckna was the mastermind behind 9/11...

Lol, fail0rz always looking for someone to blame.
Look at the first 15 minutes of that war compared to the first 15 minutes of each of the 3 wars last night and youll see that the (alleged) DDOS attack had nothing to do with that fail.
One side always wins for the same reason the other side always losses ... organization and execution.

So you say. But the plain and simple truth is, neither of us knows, what would have happened without the DDos. I think it made quite a big difference. You disagree.
You can thank Conflict for giving attackers that excuse. And it leaves some stains on pacts victory of this version. Again, you can thank Conflict for that.

no, the one wrong is you, why the hell you blame conflict for something that we did not do ?
as matter a fact in that war, before ddos attack we were already shooting Revelations as you can see in Amorphis kill time, shot by me. So stop with lame excuses. Was bad for the game to be down during a war, that was happening in 3 versions (.com, .dm and .pt) admins say that was a external attack(ddos), others say that servers could not deal with so many traffic, whatever was has nothing to do with conflict. The only fact was after servers were up again the action continued and after war was over, fams that werent blooded with us could have finished us, they didnt, was an option not a ddos attack reason.
I think you should ask your sources/admins if Conflict has anything to do with down time, and after that be man enough to post here the answer, that will be for sure that Conflict has nothing to do with it.

lol funny that we do such an attack after we already killed 2 or 3 brugs from revelations putting our members in a situation where they couldnt shoot, and getting some others killed in the process xD At least if your gonna make stupid accusations, use your own nick.

About that failed war, talk a bit with your fellow pact players. With this ka and without conflict doing the ddos attack on the server, there would have been way more damage you would have suffered, and there was a real chance to get the pact down. But since somebody within Conflict, pulled out that DDos stunt, we will never know, and they can tattoo and a 6th star on their asses if they like.
At least that is good news for Vaffanculo/Marangello/Messina/whatever their name next version will be. They lost the biggest cheat fam around sticker to Conflict.
ElMariachi at 11:40:27 on 21/05:
I kinda disagree on the Aztec story as they where never a major player in last versions blood circle, and in this case both Lucchese/Squad and Messina/Supremazia are ... So yeah tactically Purgatory+/Blacksea+ did hurt the pact pretty hard hitting those fams at a time when there could not be much retaliated by the rest of the pact. I think there was even a chance for other fams to finish the job, or at least with this KA do that much damage that it would be rly hard to recover/rebuild. But we all know that never happened.
So yeah the pact is still up, but seeing how that first war failed you guys can't rly blame other fams for it that made their moves later on in stead of helping out.

They lost the biggest cheat fam around sticker to Conflict.
lol funny that we do such an attack after we already killed 2 or 3 brugs from revelations putting our members in a situation where they couldnt shoot, and getting some others killed in the process xD At least if your gonna make stupid accusations, use your own nick.
Funny thing is, that "stupid accusation" comes from pact side, who were equally surprised by it. So I give my sources credibility than you. Using my own nick, nah, I enjoy being on IRC and being able to play without data packages flying my way.

The enemies from the pact waited too long. They let them rank up and fuck them up. so now is everyone crying about the pact. But the shoot 118 nbrugs and 7 gf in one night. So the pact did a great job. All others that are crying had to respond much faster. They had their change but didnt do anything with it.

Well I actually hope it's all just 1 pact now.
Perhaps that will cause some friction between family's and cause it to break up slowly.
The problem in this game is that Enymies from the past can become friends, but the otherway arround is not possible somehow.
This results in a growing pile of gayness, and at somepoint somebody just has to poke in the wrong hole and break it all apart.
Change of this to happen is actually 0,0002 procent, since most of these fams have no problems with picking up the soap time after time.

And what did they achieve, they stayed up longer, than those fams that decided to grab their tommies. If you consider that an achievement, then yes, they achieved more.

That was basically what maraz-krays-kurosawa did, with those conflict bloods last version, can't even remember their name. Ah, lol Aztec, I think, yeah, Aztec. But you are right, I forgot about that.
But basically same outcome, too little, too late.
At least if they expected to be something more than target practice for Conflict-Vinci-Armada-Whatwasleftofliberta. Shooting 2 weeks eaerlier might have made a longer lasting impression, but fams like Gelibolu never learn, from experience. I give Turkuz-Blacksea some credit, they learned that lesson from last version, shoot while you can is better than waiting for your executioner.
Now I am waiting for a top statement claiming they did a heroic act making a stand against the pact fams.
